Florida Lottery's repeat winners don't always come out ahead
goodness gracious joe. i am just relaying info on payouts. you have it wrong in massacusetts where i reside. they draw a 4 digit number twice daily now. you can either play all 4 or 1st 3 or last 3 or middle 2 (which would suit you i guess). everyone here at least knows you must buy the 3 digit play in .50 increments to avoid the taxes.(you didn't) the payoffs here average 700.00 for 3 opposed to your paltry 500.00 in some of the states in which you ply through. being that as it may, i understan

Pennsylvania Lottery declares 'foul' during Nov. 7 Cash 5 drawing
That may be the case but I doubt it and if a ball machine does make a foul it is noticeable and may only happen once in a while as opposed to the RNG systems which can screw the players for up to a month before the problem will be recognized. And that is a proven fact.

Kansas Lottery officials mull GTECH systems failure
Kansas Lottery officials already had more than their hands full with the selection of gaming license applicants for their four casinos so they really didn't need another problem. But, there it is: a casino data systems failure from GTECH, the Providence-RI-based firm that manages the state's lottery activities. It was defective software, pure and simple, said Ed Van Petten, lottery executive director, in describing the systems failure. GTECH, a former publicly-traded American company, was

Tennessee Lottery threatens to go computerized
There are no telling how many glitches big or small that exist in the memory banks and storage systems of computerized drawing systems, because lottery players have no way to visually inspect the drawing as it takes place. Wasn't there a problem a year or so ago with Kansas where they drew the same number for a couple of days because of a computer glitch???

Lottery staff and vendors overloaded by sales data By Kate Northrop The Minnesota Lottery confirmed yesterday that the cause for the delayed $2 billion Powerball drawing was a technical communications error brought on by an overwhelming amount of sales data. $32 million Mega Millions ticket claimed in LA area
First off,I wasn't saying that California SHOULD tax lottery winnings.I was just wondering out loud WHY THEY DON T tax lottery winnings when their state is BANKRUPT. Secondly,I don't advocate the legalizing of ALL drugs because I've seen what drugs do to people.Legalizing marijuana is one thing but legalizing other drugs is quite another thing altogether.I don't and won't lump ALL drugs into the the same catagory as harmless drugs.Marijuana is harmless in its natural form but when it is laced
