A few years ago a poster showed a Florida scratch off ticket with $1 million under a number 1 that matched the winning numbers. They went on to say they drove a couple hundred miles to lottery headquarters and validate the ticket only to learn it wasn't a winner. Someone on LP pointed out eleven was under the number 1 and they probably scratched off one of the 1 .
Anyone that ever cashed a scratch off or an terminal ticket should know there is a bar code with the exact value of any ticket.
