Yeah I prefer to play Little Lotto because there's only 39 balls and you only have to pick 5 but if your a serious lotto player and don't mind the challenge of more numbers to work with, at two plays for a dollar you could certainly play alot more lines to try and capture a win. LOL I need to read that one again and ask myself why I'm not playin' Lotto! Welcome to Illinois! LOL AKA Hellsville! Sorry I'm in Chicago and this is SOOOO not California. Little Lotto is the game I prefer to play but for a dollar you get 2 plays on Lotto 6/52 (you need to hit at least 3 numbers to win) Good Luck whatever game you choose to play!

Illinois Little Lotto Jackpots 2008Reply
Sundays and Thursdays the only jackpot action in Illinois is Little Lotto. When it's hit, it reverts back to $100,000, the starting point. It sure seems like it gets hit on Wednesdays pretty often.

Lottery programs and never a Pick 5
Ever notice on thsoe lottery programs they show on Discovery and TLC they've never shown a pick 5 winner? They have shown people who have won some nice prizes on scratchers, one recently aired one (was a repeat or an update) showed a woman in Virginia who hit a scratcher for $500,000. I know the Illinois Little Lotto has been over a million a couple of times or more, and I'm sure other pick 5s have too. I guess pick 5 just gets no respect .

I've been playing with this one (live bets, not paper tracking), $1 or $2 a day, it's been kicking back 2 out of 5 a few times - $1 payoff, break even, and an occassional 3 out of 5 for $10, and has been coming close to 5 for 5.
