Take5 NY
It was just about one year ago that The New York Lottery retired Sweet Million. It was also about a year ago that they started a new game, Cash4Life. Sweet Million was retired because it was acording to The NYS Lottery under-performing . That's because players didn't play it much. Maybe that was because of the fact that The NYS Lottery decided to take 60 percent of the total take for each draw. By doing that, they left a smaller prize pool for Sweet Million's lower tier prizes. (Most games ha

I can get closer to a win doing just all ODD/Evens
The odds of a 5/39 game are 1:575,757 unless you have all the winning numbers in a pool of 19 numbers(1:11,628). When I look at the last 1254 drawings of Ohio Rolling Cash5, there were only 20 drawings with all even numbers and 177 drawings with 4 of 5 even numbers. TOTAL HITS EVEN NUMBERS (OHIO ROLLING CASH5) MATCH 0 = 37 MATCH 1 = 217 MATCH 2 = 428 MATCH 3 = 375 MATCH 4 = 177 MATCH 5 = 20 You can alway reduce the pool of numbers you play, but the chances that any o

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
The jackpot for the evening draw is $122,000 for one player. That says the take for the draw was $394,000. $197,000 went to Florida, the other $197,000 to the winners prize pool. Sixty two percent of the winners prize pool ($122,000) which was the jackpot. OK, $122,000 isn't all that bad. But if you add $42,000 to $122,000 you get $164,000 which is generally what the old jackpots amounted to. And then there is this - there's a $25 promo going on. How much of the total take ($394,

FF5 is an all or nothing game. The lower tier prizes are awful, and NOT why anybody plays FF5. Players play FF5 to win the jackpot. In New York, a bigger percentage of the prize pool is allocated to the lower tier prizes so the second place prize has gotten to as large as $1,000. (Normally it's about $600 to $700) But due to allocating a bigger percentage to the lower tier prizes, that also means allocating a smaller percentage of the prize pool to the jackpot. (Jackpots in Take5 rarely got

Yes, it was.... Notice too that he was one of two winners, so the total jackpot was $163,256. ($81,628 x 2 = $163,256) Therefore if $163,256 is 20% of the winners prize pool, then the total amount in that pool was $816,280. That means if $816,280 was half (50%) of the total sales ( The Take ) then total sales that day were $1,632,560. A total take as big as that hasn't happened in 20 years. So why have T5 players walked away from the game in droves? There are probably many reasons why i

NC Cash 5
not too bad at all, lottofan. You got 3 / 5 with your pool of numbers last night. I have been focusing a little more on Powerball and Lucky for Life lately. I'll try to make a posting today of Cash 5, but it has been tough even on Cash 5 for me this month. I have barely been hitting any numbers with my picks.

You might hear someone say More Take5 jackpots are won with QP's than with player picked numbers , and they'd be correct. There's a reason why that's true, and it because 75% of all tickets sold statewide are QP's. That simply means there is a greater opportunity for a set of five numbers to be drawn that are included in that pool of 75% as opposed to them coming from the 25% pool of player picked numbers. The problem with QP's is you have no control over the numbers you'll be playing if

Question about pick 5/pools
i tried to form a cash 5 pool. its not easy. many people think only if they had the numbers they would win. some people have other factors. you have to have the numbers and be favored and fortunate enough to win small and particularly large amounts.

2 key numbers wheels
Even knowing it's a pick5, the wheel size will vary depending on the pool size. There are many free wheeling programs on the Internet including CoverMaster.

My thanks to everyone for the congrats. Yeah Mink, no 42 yet, but that 43 has been very hot. In fact it's the hottest number since C4L started with a total of 18 hits. You do know what I'm gonna do with that 10 spot I won last nite, don't you? It's one half of a Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle ticket Baby!! Because I'm driving to PA across I-84 today to buy the raffle tickets for the pool I run for that, I'm buying two extra non-pool tix. (Remember that I won 20 bucks playing T5 earli
