I saw when I was writing that there was a small mathematical error, but I don't have a calculator that would make it easy to determine how many combinations of white ball numbers would exist. Your post showed me that the simple way is to divide the jackpot odds by the number of bonus balls. The odds of winning the second prize are 1:53,900. This is a little bit harder than matching all four white ball numbers because you must match those numbers and also not match the bonus ball. As you state

Combinations
Hi All, In BobP's book he gives the odds of having the winning numbers amongst a reduced field. So for example in a 6/49 game the odds of having all the numbers in a reduced field of 18 is 1 in 753.28 combinations, for 21 it is 257.70 and for 24 it is 103.89. Does anybody have these combinations, is there a website where I can get it, or is there any software that can generate these? I've tried to use LottoDesignerXL but it doesnt' generate 24 number combinations, and with the lower number

Hallo,My friend, Yes,45 didnt appear in any of the lines.But There are almost one third of the lines that are winning. It is not an input error.It is because my filter system have tolerated the mistake for small prizes,and it did delete 45. Mega Millions Drawing Video Glitch
I happened to be checking out the Mega Millions drawing video from last night, and noticed a strange glitch. At 8 seconds into the video the screen went black for one second, and in the 9th second of the video it showed the superimposed text, SELECT WHITE BALLS, 3, (:10) . I'm not exactly sure what that means probably an error by the person working the video control board. MADDOG, As best I can tell, the 47 Waldo ball hasn't hit since July 9th of last year under the old 5/53 matrix. That's a long time to be missing in action. I tried to download the PowerBall test draws to see how many times it's hit in them, but I kept getting a program error.
