New Jersey P6
edge- U know exactly what Im talking about. And yes, you spotted my error; i.e. the 13-17 range you posted was correct. I get the over unders for each position by calculating the mean of the last 5 drawings. Somethimes this results in a number with a decimal- lets say 11.2. In this case the under is 11 and the over is 12. When I set my odds for this drawing, my ranges were perfect- meaning that every number that came out in tonight's drawing were within my ranges. This is just something

New York P10: 1/1 thru 1/31
Thanks for the comment! I see two problems with using wheeling coverage in general, although it appears I am using some kind of wheeling system myself:) ( I don't) 1) probably most common error is an assumption of chosen or preferred numbers such as using all evens, all odds etc. unless there is an inherent bias in the system favoring some of these (the only rational reason for any statistical system targeting winning lottery is to seek out possible bias and taking advantage of it) 2) wh

MegaMillions rolls to $325M
I think the next pot would only be around 80 million more than whatever the current pot gets adjusted to. Sales are lower this time than the drawinging in March. For the last drawing sales were at $110 million vs $88 now. Sales for the current drawing will only hit around $150 to $175. So odds of a rollover are higher but still pretty low. I'd say the next pot would be around $410 - $415 then get adjusted by sales. They error on the low side to start since you can always raise it later as sal

Maddogs Powerball Challenge 12/30
Thanks everyone Not the same as xsmega 5+0 call, but hitting something is better than nothing. I am glad I am not playing with real money, otherwise, I'd be deep in the hole. I think the new format will make it tough for anyone to win unless they are spot on with no margin for error or covering one's tracks. If a 5/15 call only nets xsmega twenty something in winnings, it seems like the real format would need to be 8/3 to actually win money. And everyone will have to start looking for

Potential problem with PA Mix & Match
How can the lottery be *alledged* to be stealing the *willing* participants money? (Boggling) If I play , its with the realistic knowledge that I did so of my own accord. The ambition to succeed at cracking the system or the ambition of being able to be debt free with the winnings. Since its true that only time will tell how its herold by the public, I for one, beleive that it deserves the chance to be promoted and played. If it turns out to be a dud so be it..we learn from trial and error ..

CA SLP Challenge 6/10
Everyone, there is about 9 hours until the next draw. However, in one of my Mega Balls, I had an error to be revised. 4-5-6-10-12-13-16-19-25-32-33-36-37-42-47 Mega Number (revised): 1-6-7-11-23

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Here are the long term modelling results for probabilities of jackpots of various sizes derived from my curve fitting scheme. As I have discussed, I think, before, modeling gives better results in some areas than it does in others. It deviates widely in the first several drawing and it also deviates when the jackpots approach records. It is now operating in a region where it is very accurate though. This is satisfying to me.(I keep the model updated by inserting new sales figures for each

The Pigskin Challenge: 3-19-'05
The Pigskin Challenge: POWERBALL 3-19-'05$10,000,000.001. The object of The Pigskin Challenge is to correctly identify all the numbers to be drawn in the Powerball game.2. No more than ten number selections may be used to predict the numbers from the 5/53 matrix. 3. No more than three number selections from the 1/42 matrix may be used to predict the red PowerBall. For those who dare, you can specify one number from your picks in each matrix as most likely to hit . Just be sure to make it perfe

Powerball no-repeat combination base
Can everyone here at least agree that to make a prediction based on probability rather than whim or dogma there has to be input of some sort? Does it square with logic that the more credible the input then the more credible the predictive results will be? In lottery error is easy in both hacking and gambling, the two most important aspects - IMHO. Grasping ever bigger pictures of the true nature of the game seems to get harder with each picture. Things get harder to explain and harder to follow.

In The Spirit of Sharing : Powerball
The above method I have expanded upon to change the statistic in question, usingArithmetic Mean =INT(AVERAGE(C2:C101))Median =INT(MEDIAN(C2:C101))Geometric Mean =INT(GEOMEAN(C2:C101))Harmonic Mean =INT(HARMEAN(C2:C101))Note the use of the INT function, this is to ensure we remain working with only Whole Numbers (Integers)... you won't find 35.6 on any bet slip for the PB! We didn't need it above because MODE only returns values in the list, which are already whole numbers.
