Thanks for the explanation about the interest rate and make sense for the difference but don't understand why the lottery need to do this basic on finance rates when they will make way much on profit just by selling the tickets, they don't even accept credit cards so is cash flow and assuming they will make around 1.5 million books and each book cost $1500, they will get $2250 millions cash by selling the tickets and 500x is about a year is almost sold out.

The game number for the 50x holiday edition ticket is 5046, so the 50x game number 5046 listed on the Florida Lottery website should be the correct stats for that game even though the ticket pictured is not the holiday edition 50x. I think they reprinted the existing 5046 game with 50x and labeled the newer tickets holiday edition.

Scratch -off ticket printing
Can scratch-off tickets be duplicated? I purchased two $30 Scratch-off tickets both of them were winners totaling $140.00 When I cash them in the cashier removed the remaining tickets and said they were sold out. a few days later I decided to go with the $25 tickets this time it was the crossword on the back of the ticket has an extra crossword printed on the back which you fold I won on both of these 2 tickets as well totaling $125.00 when I cash them in this same cashier then shuts

Hey th199 ----- Duckman and Dracos each won $100K on scratchers ....... there was guy in Port Charlotte/Ft. Myers who won over 2M on a scratcher ....... said he bought dozens of books and hit the big one .......he might have been an EMT ? I don't think he ever posted the ticket but it was on Lot news ..... maybe 7-8 years ago ...... Duckman's was a $25 ticket - Dracos a $20 ticket and the guy in Ft Myers area a $20 ticket .... Now we are seeing $50 dollar tickets with over $1.6 printed ! ..

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
Looking around the web, I see that numbers are generated sequentially. So, if there are 18million tickets, I would expect my ticket to be somewhere from 1 to 18million. However, since there are books and then sub numbers, I have to calculate slightly differently. Concretely, I have a CA 200X scratcher that has about 18million total tickets. I look at a ticket and see a number 1182345-025. If I assume each book at 30 tickets, it means my book should start at 1182345 to 118237

CAPE - Thanks for pointing out my error when calculating the number of tickets printed for game 1529. However, the IRL does show 'prize count' as 9,650,883 ... I used 'prize amount ' to get the wrong number of 'duds' ........... I just emailed Lottery asking the number of tickets printed for the game and how to calculate (if possible) on my own ... let's see what comes down .... Good Luck !!

That is interesting. When it comes to scratchers, one thing I do is check the lottery app I have on my phone to see which scratchers have the most winners left and try to concentrate on those. If a ticket doesn't have many winners left, no point in trying it in my opinion. I did once buy 10 tickets in a row and had no winners, so I guess it's not unusual.

So far the new year feels like last year's losers for me lol. Glad to see some people are still winning. As of late I've seen a resurgence of 2020 Holiday Tickets ($1 $5). Has anyone else seen these tickets in their areas? So far the $5 I have been playing are straight up losers, like buying the last 7 on a roll and they are all losers. The $1 version are paying out better lol. Did the lottery just release the losing set for these while keeping the top prizes for themselves lol.

Interesting article. I'm supposing this happens here in FL on a much smaller scale (and between friends relatives) when someone wants to avoid trying to process a claimer if they owe back taxes or child support. That could be Cape. I just noticed it's Florida 300x the cash not just 300x like the other current x games. I agree that there may be another 2nd chance promotion with that game down the line probably for the holidays as you mentioned lol. If the raffle is coming back I hope it's for new year's and not next year. I would also like a new For Life game but I don't think that will be until next year. I'm guessing the $100 ticket I heard about will be a part of that. So far I've only seen one $100 t
