Monopoly Millionaires game
Minimum 6 picked per state, computerized random drawing. Basically pool all the valid entries from the system and tell it to choose X winners (state-by-state).
Maryland sold 186,438 tickets up until last Friday's drawing. I estimate about 200,000 until the second-chance cutoff yesterday. So even if all ~200,000 tickets were entered online and all were first-time entries (which is near impossible), your chances would be about 1 in 3589, assuming the yield figures I previously calculated are ac

Investing in Pick 3 and Pick 4
No way you could ever make this a pool wager.
With only 10 members the cost at Draw 1 would be $2.50 to win $1.25. Doubles would pay $5. Triple would pay $20.
At Draw 4 with ten members the cost would be $120 to win $20 for a Single, $200 for a Double. Yeah, Triples payout looks good, if you can reliably predict them.
There is no advantage to playing in a group when a fifty cent box will pay $40 for a single, $80 for a double, and a triple (only playable as a straight) win $250. Texas d

MONOPOLY Millionaires club
Glad to hear the rep was helpful (most of the time they aren't!). However, I think more clarification is needed.
The Club winners are indeed selected by a RNG (p.s. the Club number is gen'd by the terminal, basically RNG). But, not in the way you think.
When we think of RNG we think of each digit being spun like the ball drawings are done. If your ticket matches the numbers randomly chosen then you win.
That's not the case here. As you stated, it is just like a raffle. This is exactly h

If you won a huge jackpot would you feel obligated to share it?
I am glad someone is speaking about giving if they win a large j/p.
Personally I can't see myself SPLITTING anything with anyone. I could see myself giving my intermediate family a few million, but not a large percentage and definitely not because I feel obligated to give them a part of the money, but because I'd want to.
This is what I feel is the best way to give them a large portion of your jackpot. As the ticket holder you have the option to do what you want to. Why give your family a

What are the odds
RL,
Would you be willing to restart a new pool like we had ?
for 5/39 even back on 5/75.
2 times we were off by 3 filters out of 20 and we would have hit the 5/5 not bad after just few months of playing,
I strongly believe that if we would have continuous we would had made it.
I really think you should start it again.

Iowa: 10/1 - 10/31/2014
Alright I'm done I'm not doing Iowa eve but hopefully one of you or many of you see something in one of these i posted and get some winners.
Create a rule and bet on yourself. Like with the pairs you can say I am not going to choose boxes that feature a pair equal to the same number of hits and skips for the last two draws. Or the opposite I only want boxes equal to the pairs of hits and skips of the last two(at least one is a common trend that shows up). for the 220 boxes a rule would

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
CALottery is still the only realistic option for the common person to attempt to win $100k or million dollars, but comes at unfavorable odds, should be kept to a safe minimum so that is the reason I called it a pot shot. Casino gaming is the best option to try to win hundreds or even a few thousand, and maybe have a good time to go along with it.
I forgot to bring this up, last Thursday I got a survey invitation from the CALottery with regards to a new 2nd Chance program for scratchers.

Millonaire Maker Fantasy Football Contest is Up
I am super pumped. This Sunday someone is going to win a million bucks playing fantasy football. Never in YOUR LIFE have the odds been so sweet to possibly take down the million. Even if you know nothing about fantasy football you would be foolish to not at least throw in a ticket to go after it. Here is the break down. You create a team for $27. There are 92,400 entries to fill in the contest. The prize pool is $2.2 million. The top prize gets $1 million. The contest will pay money to the peopl

So what would the "Holy Grail" of Pick 3 playing be?
There are a lot of great examples here, but they seem to miss what differentiates (to play with the original metaphor) a Dixie cup from a golden chalice.
Lots of these are best guesses. Again, I can take a sampling of 10 numbers from the 120 singles boxes. Sure, one could ride them for some plays... but they are notoriously uneven: you'll get rapid fire payoffs, then you might go long, long, LOOOOOONG stretches where your sampling won't fire... this is why the game uses an algorithm at all, t

So what would the "Holy Grail" of Pick 3 playing be?
10 Boxed singles are 8.33 percent of the possible 120, and will hit 8.33 percent of the time that you get a single (given a large enough sample of draws).
IMMUTABLE RULE OF NUMBERS!!!
So, there is not a magical group that hits more than another group. However, said pool of 10 numbers will have hot and cold streaks, sometimes hitting 4 or 5 times in 10 draws, sometimes not hitting for 50 draws in a row.
So what you seem to be looking for is a trigger or an indicator that will let you kno
