Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
Well I am one of them that is willing to see where the urban myth of LOCAL TERMINAL RNG's is documented and in print. Can you explain why ALL the supposed ISOLATED LOCAL RNG's produced the same Quick Picks SYSTEM WIDE? What don't you understand about the words SYSTEM WIDE? Reread the article. Talk about cluelessness. What kind of cliche' of stupid is that? What does a knowledge of math have to do with how man-made randomness works or applies to buying a Quick-Pick? What don't you get and wher

Lets Dream
The dream I have is to have a financial plan for me and my sons: Set up enough for their education/schooling needs Get rid of any debt: no mortgage, car loans, etc. Set up some type of trust for charitable giving Invest Protect the assets. People will come knocking, whether they want to offer some type of opportunity, sell me something, marriage proposals.....If I was a Baby Ruth in a swimming pool to you before, what makes you think I turned into a Godiva chocolate after the w

$200/hr? For a $10 cover and $20 for three songs, they won't have to tell me anything...just dance for me. ;-) Anyways, if $100 million suddenly makes me attractive, I'm not interested.....in fact here is where the word no becomes necessary. I have thought about this facet of winning. I don't know how it would be for a female winner, but I may have to go overseas to find someone else.......Definitely a pre-nup would be in order. Being in the states and not being able to claim th

Quantum Physics affecting the lottery?
I've noticed that whenever I choose numbers to take out of my game, you know, just to reduce my pool from 18 to 15 or so, some of those numbers come out in the drawing. This is very frustrating and I got to thinking, what if quantum physics was at play here? What if our meticulous observations of these games is affecting the results? This happens when I play for a normal game, instead of tailoring my numbers for a game starting in the teens (Take 5). Teen games are rare, but now that I'm spec

All for none and One for one
HI, I don't have all the answers. That's why I put it up for discussion rather than just trying to start it up. RJOh, Maybe track it like what's happening with Maddogs challenge. See who can get the most consistent results of getting one right. Coin Toss, Imagine 5 players who consistently get one number right (different numbers and different systems). There might be a good possibility of wins for all. Again, I don't have all the answers. Any idea that would

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
well, despite the fact that you just insulted every woman over 115lbs (because obviously hollyweird sets the standard ), i am gonna accept. ......or should i say i would have, iffin you had given me a fair heads up, and posted this not so close to the starting gate time. i would have posted my contender QP's before that dude blew that really long brass horn to start the race. next draw, at least give me a reasonable heads up, so we can actually go heads up . and, you now owe my

Kentucky: 7/1 - 7/31/2010
Hello Everyone! I'm new here and just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. My name is Bill and I love playing the lottery and actually have been managing a powerball pool with 29 other members since 12-31-2008.. This is not a solicitation, i thought i would just throw that in so all of you would know a little about me. I've had this site bookmarked for quite some time, but i've just recently started reading the discussions and everyone seems very polite and respectable. Even tho

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
Thething that throws the QP s out for me are the duplicate sales of QP ssets (winners and losers) when there are not enough sales to indicateone entire pool of combinations is exhausted. It appears that you don't understand how random picks and probability work. It's not necessary for all combinations to be used before some are repeated. All that's necessary is selling enough that probability guarantess that they start repeating. Let's imagine that the first 1,757,116 QP's are sold with

If You Could Make PB/Euromillions be a Pick6 YOu will had Won PowerBall a long time ago
If you could CONVERT/make Powerball or Euromillions be a Pick6 you will had won the Jackpot a long time ago possibly win it month after month... The problem is that Powerball/Euromillions is a HYBRID GAME, is a: Pick5/39 + 1/42....If you could find a way to mathematically weave a Pick5/39 + 1/42 or a: Pick5/39 + 1/19 [Hot lotto case], into a Pick6 you will win that jackpot month after month... there is a wheel name: Y6-3T625 comes out to 201 tickets (you know from where the store)...Y

No you are not nuts. In fact you look at things too rationally and let facts speak for themselves. The thing that throws the QP s out for me are the duplicate sales of QP s sets (winners and losers) when there are not enough sales to indicate one entire pool of combinations is exhausted. Duplicate losers and multiple winners on low sales tells me dumb luck is not involved. Three people have shared a QP win on a small jackpot. The sales and the prize payout would indicate that no less than
