You could also use the tiers in order to track a specific number that you may like find out the ways that the number has not come just focus on that number. I used to go the races at Del Mar years ago. But one year they put down like 15 horses (I witnessed 2 of them). I decided I didn't want to see that again. They couldn't explain why, but they completely re-surfaced the track (actually down about 3 or 4 levels, if I remember correctly). I have not been back and my daughter, who has a degree in horse training, told me that it is no wonder horses break their legs. I just found something in a review of Picking Winners at Amazon that helps pull these various forms of betting together. There are some people posting in other Forums here that don't think it makes sense to use roulette or stock simulations to try to make a point regarding lotteries. Although the reviewer was not a horse player, he raved about the book... I've never bet on a horse race. I've actually only been to a track once in my life (we don't have a lot of it in this part of the country)
