Perseverance has paid off -- big time -- for 55-year-old Ron Jones. After playing the lottery for 25 years, Jones and his wife Gloria Dutchuk hit the jackpot Saturday. The Winnipeg couple won $8.3 million (US$6.7 million) on a Lotto 6/49 Quick Pick -- the fifth largest win in Manitoba history. It's their share of a $25-million jackpot. I didn't know what to think, the saw operator told a news conference yesterday. It's an unreal number. Millions of dollars were awaiting an anonymous lotto ticket holder Thursday as the owners of Valencia Liquor made preparations to greet California's latest midweek SuperLotto Plus winner. As of late afternoon, a Quick Pick holder with the numbers 2, 9, 27, 30, 45 and mega-number 13, won the $10 million prize but had yet to make a claim at the Newhall liquor store, where two other big winners claimed some serious cash in the past. Hey Everyone!I'm new to the forum. Let me give u some background info. I started becoming a serious lottery player about a year and some months ago when i stumbled upon the Lottery Master Guide by Gail Howard on amazon's website. Ohio was very very good to me!
I took a weekend trip to Cleveland for the purpose of helping a relative take care of some business. I'd been looking forward to taking a little break from things and I wanted to dabble in the Ohio lottery games. Well, I'm a jackpot kinda guy and I was curious about the Bonus Ball feature of Ohio Super Lotto Plus. I also remembered that RJOh had scored a pretty good hit on Super Lotto the other week.Just a few minutes before cutoff time, I bought a $5 Quick Pick - I guess they call it Auto Lotto
