Just to set the record straight:
This wasn't the first time he chickened out. EVERY proposal by the system pick guys has been rejected. He has chickened out over and over.
I don't care how many sentences he starts with lower case letters, I don't care how many misspelled words he uses, I don't care how many times he repeats that he never chickened out - he has. EVERY proposal. He hasn't done one single test following the rules the system pick guys setup.

Just as a proposal, how about a Lotto Survivor game?
Not like Survivor the TV show, like Survivor contests in sports betting.
You buy a ticket, or pay a certain amount to pick a number from a range of numbers.

If you have the number, you buy another ticket for the next drawing. the matrix is always a constant and the jackpot grows until hit. Each player can only buy one number (have to work on that).
Because there is a daily drawing, a number

N.C. lottery's fate could come down to one key vote
The proposal for a North Carolina lottery which seemed headed for passage a month ago is in jeopardy.Senate leader Marc Basnight said Tuesday that supporters did not yet have enough votes to pass the lottery in the Senate and that it was unclear whether they could get those votes before the legislature adjourns for the year. It's a flip of the coin, Basnight said in an interview.Although the Democratic leadership supports a lottery, five Democratic senators are staked out in opposition. Tha

Support eroding for Maine Gov.'s lottery plan
A Democratic state senator from Portland is breaking ranks with Gov. John Baldacci on the governor's plan to help balance the state budget by selling future lottery revenue. But it remains to be seen if that defection is isolated or the first sign that support is crumbling within the governor's party.Sen. Ethan Strimling, one of 19 Democrats in the 35-member Senate, said Wednesday he cannot support borrowing $250 million from an investor and repaying it by selling lottery revenue. Strimling said
