They would come here and rant and rave on how they are not spending a dime on either, but behind the scenes, they be buying tickets The people saying they aren't buying tickets probably aren't. Revenue per draw is up, bu ticket sales are down. Maybe ticket sales will be higher if PB also goes to $4 or $5 because there are plenty of people who have to play some game. Washington has no sales tax and you can claim through trust or llc. They'll release the trust or llc details if requested but you'd just form the llc in Delaware to keep anonymity. Same situation with Florida.

Idaho started a promotion for the entire month of September. Buy at least $15 of Powerball on one ticket and get a free Megamillions. Can I assume that's because MM sales are lagging and they're trying to get players into the habit of checking tickets on Tuesday and Friday?

I don't think the jackpot estimate will increase before the drawing. I expect the Labor Day holiday to slow down sales as many people travel. If it rolls tonight then expect a buying frenzy to continue Wednesday.
