Man accused of stealing $10,000 lottery ticket from co-workers
I agree with Scary. Luck doesn't target an area, although in FL it's just the opposite. We seem to have a disproportionate number of winners in Miami. Even a newspaper said that once when posting the lottery results..something like Believe or not there were no winners from Miami last night. Maybe for a while the Lottery Fairy was vacationing on South Beach. :-)
Sure there are winners in small, rural towns. But most of the winning tickets are purchased in Miami or a surrounding suburb. I've se

Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
Some folk think other folk are just naturally lucky and being in a lottery pool with them increases their chances of getting lucky too.

Powerball Jackpot
If it rolls two more times, the jackpot might be between $365 million and $390 million, thus raising the cap without triggering the match 5+0 bonus pool.

Quick picks
I have 39 pools.. All of those are qp....
I pick my own pb numbers.. That is how I tell the numbers apart ... and of course records are kept on the tickets that are pools with each pool having a pool number and the players name.

What is the perfect number?
1 is the best way to play because of obvious reasons, but if I had to play in a pool I would play with 10.

What is the perfect number?
Pools are a great way to increase your odds of AT LEAST hitting something. Even splitting 250k among 10 people is still good to me. At one place I worked we tried a TAKE 5 (NY) pool - we tried all qp's and then we tried picking the #'s. Neither way got us more then $25 bucks and there were10 of us. It only lasted about 2 months then we gave up.
I am in another pool which is called 'retirement fund' as the employer of the person doing it doesn't allow for gambling.
