what will be the next computerized state?
Att Players: The TLC is planning to change Cash5 to computer generated drawings in March 2005.Actually, they plan to switch all draws over to computerized draws. They have also chosen to use pseudo random which means, the draws will NOT really be random. I will be posting more, in the meantime, start writing your state reps and tell them NO to computerized drawings. After all, they did just buy new drawing machines and balls so why spend the money?www.lottoreport.com

have you heard what state might be next to be computerized??? hopefully it won't be tennessee.i don't know where you heard that.i hate it because to me its harder to have a formula to hit these computerized drawings plus the ball drawings have a certain liveliness to them and makes it fun as you watch the numbers drop its exciting.a computerized drawing where the numbers just pop up on the screen lacks the heart and soul of a ball drawing.....

computerized drawings...a finding
all of what you just said is exactly what i'm thinking too,you said that perfectly...they want to go computerized because they know that unlike the ball drawing its hard to detect patterns and the numbers are erratic from one drawing to the next and you might as well throw a system out the window with computerized drawings. with ball drawings you can have a system and detect patterns and make some hits.......

Lottery petition attacks computerized drawings
I have to agree with smd on the hacking argument because I cant fathom any lottery commission having the computer that generates numbers hooked up to the internet. Any hacking would have to come from an employee.....or.... inside job from somebody not authorized to use the lottery computer.I do feel the public should be allowed to have a public viewing of the numbers when they are drawn though although I havent found computerized drawings having any impact on the Pick 3 game which I trac

It just doesnt sound completely fair to me. Computers are so easy to manipulate, I would never fully trust a lottery that has computerzied drawings.

Investigation finds lottery scamming Tipton brothers have repaid virtually nothing
By Jason Clayworth and Rachel Denny Clow Two brothers who spearheaded the biggest lottery scam in U.S. history have repaid less than $1,400 in restitution despite owning property worth nearly $2 million, a Des Moines Register and Corpus Christi Caller Times investigation has found. Between them, Eddie and Tommy Tipton have admitted rigging winning drawings in at least five states, including Iowa, worth a combined $24 million.
