Dozens of lottery players across the USA hit it big in Powerball
In the draw in question. California had a pool for 2nd division worth $236,789.. they had 7 winners... where would the extra $6,763,211 come from? Ditto 3rd division (Pool of $60,616, 8 winners. Other states pay $50,000.. need to find an extra $339,384) California is paying out based on the sales made in California... It means they don't get burned when other states have to fund prizes out of ... well, where do they get the money to top up the prizes? By holding back some of the money

Non Jackpot liablity payout. is there one?
Yes there is a limit, if the reserve pools are exhausted the set prizes will convert to pari-mutuel. For example, in Powerball the pari-mutuel will be triggered if both the reserve pool for set-prizes (max $40m) and the reserve pool for starting JP ($20m) are drained by set prizes. This doesn't just apply to the first non-jackpot tier either. If you hit a zillion lower prizes it would effect too.

Mewinner Jackpot Addition Subtraction System
Take numbers from last draw. For any pair of numbers find the sum (addition) of the pair and subtraction (difference) of the pair and put it in a pool. Then randomly select 5 (or how every many numbers you need for your jackpot game) from the pool to play. Example:

Are pick3 and pick4 numbers sequentially drawn? RNG questions...
Thank you sir! There is something called an entropy pool within the RNG, maybe that's another way of saying noise source, not sure. Nonetheless, I've read that if the entropy pool does not update quick enough, it can cause problems. Problems meaning that it doesn't give as good random numbers as it could, but it still wouldn't make it predictable. I wish I had more to add to the conversation.

2 key numbers wheel
Well, unless Lottery Post has them, you may have to download Lottery Statistics Analyzer ... It will generate a 2 key wheel for any amount number pool...in your case... 2 key for 53 n 51x50x49x48 would =5,997,600 4 number full 2 key number combination wheel for a 53n pool..(4+2=6-pick)... You'll have to find a way to put the 2 key numbers (52 53) in ALL the combinations... but that is the total amount you're looking at...for 53 numbers with a 2 key number capability.. Good Luck..

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Ummm... beg to differ. Out of the entire field, if you cover, you will be playing the odds. On the other hand, if you play by your best guess, you will play odds of 1/1000 not 1/10000000. Ways to limit your field exist and I know them. Simple as that. I myself have won 4/5 in the California Super Lotto, but didn't hit the mega ($100 spent vs $1000s). Or, in my office pool, 4/5 plus mega hit ($10 spent each time the jackpot was high enough) with such a record, it is truly frustrating not to

My Method: A linear congruential generator picker
garyo1954, I'm still testing the crap out of this, and this phrase from your post sums up what I found so far: The bigger problem is your 4 digit combination. Just because you find the highest producing set doesn't guarantee its are going to hit . What you've stated is exactly what I've found so far. For example, for a given two year (730 draw) window for Connecticut Pick 3, and a given M, A, and C, I identify a list of the best Seeds, i.e. the Seeds that produce the most exact matches when e

Co-workers sue British Columbia man who won $1 million lottery prize
This case is reminiscent of the one in NJ. Involving a guy named Americo,* l think, Latino, heavy set by all accounts. He too was the guy who collected the pool money, suddenly quit the job after winning millions, but the courts found him guilty he ended up paying the others in the lottery pool. Whether there was an agreement in that situation , l have no idea, but Canadian law will rule in either of these parties favor. Not much is being said as to whether these co workers got copies of the

Would you join a lottery pool consisting solely of family members?
This topic came up over the weekend at a friend's home. His wife seemed to be leading the charge on getting this show on the road. Which got me thinking: How would you respond if that talk was raised amongst your immediate Family members? Would you join,or pass on it? * Immediate Family members: Your Siblings, not your children or friends..for clarification.
