[S]ince the pool was created 'it created a presumed sharing... Recently, someone here posted a similar point of view regarding the pool they are part of. There are probably many pools out there where at least one member feels this same way (it only takes one troublemaker) but hasn't made their move, yet.

Me and 5 other people each put one dollar in a pool as we always do.............one of us hit the 23 Mega Ball.........thats about it............won 2.00 that goes on the next mega drawing in the pool I had 9.00 on the side by myself.............. one number here and there on those..........thats about it I did have number 25 mega ball on three differant tickets...........missed by two on that

Exactamundo! Pools are a hassle and compared to individuals, they rarely win. Another problem is you're usually in the pool with a bunch of tightwad skinflints and miserly cheapskates who pinch pennies so hard they have Lincoln spinning in his grave in agony. That's the kind of people pools attract. And you know what happens when one of those tightwads misses a drawing and the pool wins - it's sleazy lawyer time. Avoid pools just like you'd avoid the cheapskates that like them.

Annual payment on 5 grand?? Not 5 million? I think once a pool gets near a dozen, 2 dozen max, it's time to break it into 2 smaller groups. A JP divided by 40-50 people isn't going to be much fun, plus you know the manager of that pool would spend way too much time on paper pushing ... if they're doing things right.

The Mrs. and i would take a ride to R.I. to play powerball in the early 90's .We are from city island in bronx,n.y. ...people would always ask if we could pick you tickets for them ...Its just under three hour ride ..Ididn't want to be mean but i said come along for the ride .All of them said no.OK...Now in 1995 powerball comes to CT...We wouldtake a ride into CT. to around exit 40 or 41 on I95 the Christmas Tree store..Ag
