Well, in Idaho PB is $3 per line. They started bundling the multiplier for your convenience a few years ago.

Under the current structure where the multiplier ranges from 2 to 10, the average is 3. So if 3 were the minimum, then 3 would also have to be the maximum. I do think it would be better to have fixed non-jackpot prizes instead of a random multiplier you have to pay for.

Our pool did not win anything in the latest Mega Millions draw. We have tickets for tonight's draw and one ticket has a 5 times multiplier. Hoping to break our losing streak tonight. We have been lucky with the multiplier often getting a 5 times or a 10 times. But they are no good if they do not match. Good luck to everyone that is playing tonight.

No, it is true that you are guaranteed a multiplier of at least 10x on the second prize if you buy 5 tickets with the same five white ball numbers. This doesn't guaranteed you will win it but rather guarantee the amount. You are also going to have a 1 in 58 million chance to win the jackpot with those 5 tickets that have 5 different megaballs. The multiplier on the 3rd and lower prizes will vary since they are a combination of white balls and megaball match/no match.

We have our pool tickets for the next Mega Millions draw. This time we got one ticket with a 5 times multiplier and one ticket with a 10 times multiplier. It is great getting the bigger multipliers but we need them to hit. We had a lot of larger multipliers in the previous draw but none of them hit. We have our pool tickets for the Tuesday draw. The best we did was a 3 times multiplier. This is two draws is a row where the highest multiplier was a 3. The Powerball jackpot is also large enough for our pool to play. So when the Mega Millions jackpot is won, we can switch to playing Powerball. We have played the Mega Millions game 15 draws in a row. i think out of spite, we'll play more Powerball, self picked numbers, with the multiplier. at least when we get a high multiplier, it's applied to all lines of play. we don't sit there like a wage slave hoping they throw us a bone on one line with a x10. and, last we checked, 10 times nothing is still nothing.

It appears that MUSL is always looking for ways to screw the players . Why remove the 10X multiplier when it doesn't impact the JACKPOT. You cannot multiply the jackpots, so what's the point . GREED!!!.
