High-tech lottery company opens new $15M facility in Florida
Why not name this building after Mr Shakespeare. If politicians can name Aircraft carriers, Airports, libraries, streets etc after Ronald Reagan, why not Abraham Shakespeare. I mean he had the first name of a President of these United States for crying out loud. I say send a signal.

Lottery windfalls can buy anything except anonymity
Abraham Shakespeare won the Florida lotto in 2006, and was murdered in 2009 by a woman he didn't know before he won the lottery. She was able to know who he was and target him, thanks to the lottery commission's mandatory publicity. There's a video on YouTube where Shakespeare states that he'd like to have his old life back, so he could walk down the street without people knowing who he was. He apparently couldn't go anywhere in public without people recognizing him and hounding him for money.

TLC The Lottery Changed My Life
The only lottery winner who has ever had cursed winnings was Hurley from the show Lost. Jack Whitakker wasn't cursed, neither was Bud Post, nor Edwards nor even Shakespeare. The only difference between Shakespeare and the others was that he didn't intentionally/knowingly make godawful decisions. They were still bad, but he didn't know they were bad, so it's hard to blame him for his own mistakes. I think the rest of us know there's a lot we don't know about the tax laws and managing 8 figure
