MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
Hi all lottery gurus,
We ran into a weird situation yesterday and I'd love to get your take on it, please.
We run an office pool when jackpot hits 1BN, and this drawing is one of those we normally play. Our pool reaches $700-800 most of the time and we usually buy ~$100-150 in tickets at multiple stores. Yesterday, my friend came to one of the stores and first went to a self-service machine. She bought $100 worth of tickets - twenty $3 entries and twenty $2 entries. They got printed out

Joining a lottery club?
A bit of a stretch, how?
Your post reads....
Back to the topic of this thread.
The Texas Lotto jackpot is now $61 million. Every week it becomes a better and better option for a pool of players to buy enough tickets to win it.
Not only do you poi nt directly at the, Texas Lotto jackpot is now $61 million , you also advocate that it is, a better and better option for a pool of players.
So Joe is right. No stretch a nd no technicality. You said a pool of players shou

Every Lottery System is based on What it Measures and When said Measurement s Values occur in the Games History. Tracking Measurements in order to predict the next Measurement Value leads to a cliff atop a giant canyon. You are unable to influence the canyon. Random s Shield against Prediction prevents that influence or if not, Blocks the View.
I have a little different concept of randomness versus measurements issue. For lotteries randomness formula says: for a given pool of numbers at any

You are in a lottery pool - on average over 6000 tickets are brought
How is it that being in a Lottery Pool where over 6000 tickets are purchase and you can't even score 2nd place winners..
If you aren't scoring 2nd tier prizes afta spendin THAT kinda money?..Y'ALL need to start using Probability Math on your bets.. I'll betcha THEN you'll start winning, probably the Jackpots.
The viability of the numberz PICKED determinez how serious LOs take you, but coupled wit THAT kinda buget... Geeezz, .. LOs would be beggin me NOT TA PLAY.. .. cause I Shut'em Dooo

Has anyone won with quick picks?
When I do a search on quick pick percentage wins , most official answers are wishy washy at best. Around 70% to 80% , is a common enough answer. Why this range? Vagueness is the tell.
Every lottery game depends on the perception that players can win. I know you like my Capt. Obvious statements.
Going with around 70% play quick picks, then around 30% carefully select their numbers, or waste their money on a junk piece of software that they don't understand that guesses their numbers.

I bet next 3 games again straight 222 and 043 but no win yet and 888 can in the evening game. That shows how the lottery is crooked because 222 is not come since 2012 but 888 has come over 5 times. 043 is latest or oldest overdue straight number too.
I dropped the 22x front pair and kept the 34x front pair for 3 more game drawings.
But however the lottery is adding up in math sense, maybe we need to choose from numbers do not make sense like the 50% of winning half of numbers.
I know

Lottery flub pays off: Michigan co-workers win $1M
I thought of a way to solve this problem: have a lottery pool contract which states which numbers the pool is playing. The numbers NEVER change.
Say there are 50 players. The contract should state the following 50 numbers shall be played:
ticket #1 27 42 44 48 54 PB 23
ticket #2 11 17 35 58 64 PB 9
ticket #3 5 7 21 26 47 PB 22
...
ticket #50 11 25 27 50 52 PB 6
Then if the person who buys the lottery tickets wants to play on his own, fine, but UNDER CONTRACT, you MUST p

NJ man's broken hip turns into lottery riches
A New Jersey man literally got a lucky break when he joined a $1 million-winning lottery pool at a local hospital after breaking his hip while walking to buy a ticket.
Earl Livingston, 87, of Blackwood, New Jersey, was walking to the store Tuesday to pick up a lottery ticket when he fell and broke his hip. He was taken to Jefferson Stratford Hospital, where he shared his story with staff members.
He told them he was on his way to buy a lottery ticket and he was disappointed that he didn

So, I will write a book one day about the corruption around the individual state level tickets and accounting practices, but yes this is a remaining loophole in a lot of state lotteries. The tickets are not deactivated out of the system out of the excuse they are left activated at a book level to ensure people who bought the original tickets have a chance to cash them in. The simple solution for them would be to scratch them and scan them out to ensure prizes were de-listed, however this can lea

This is a reasonable method that I've also employed.
The two issues I've come across:
Towards a game getting over 70% sold the lottery tends to slow out distributing books (if they do at all) and then start sneakily pulling back books to make room for other games, with most of the books getting pulled likely in the target zone. Once the FL claims them, who knows if they'll ever make it back out to an AK Kwik or if they just start disposing of them. This is why the book numbers theory migh
