Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot has increased by $27 million to $547 million after 28 consecutive rolls and is the largest Mega Millions jackpot since December 2024. There is only a 2.7% chance the jackpot will be won in the October 7 draw with projected sales of $40.6 million.
Interesting to note, Mega Millions sales were from $45 million to $51 million per draw last month for three consecutive draws when the jackpot was less than $360 million. It appears the reason for the high sales was the Po

$1.7 BILLION: Will Powerball create a Christmas billionaire?
One thing I truly miss is bump up to the jackpot like in the good old days. Gone for good I'd say.
Considering that they've done it 4 times in the last 4 months it hardly seems like it no longer happens. Changing to 3 drawings per week has a minor effect, but the real issue is that lottery sales per drawing are generally slower than they used to be. Even so, the current PB run is a rare exception (as of now) for not bumping some of the jackpots for runs that made it past the billion dollar

$1.3 BILLION: Powerball jackpot soars to 5th-largest in game history
what Ai is saying is they can't stop it from Climbing but they can Slow it down so second chance win more makes sense.
My intelligence isn't artificial, so I've got a somewhat different take, partly because I don't have as many hallucinations. Back when the annuity record was about $300 million PB introduced a cap that would limit jackpot increases to $25 million, with any excess augmenting the second place prize, until a new record was set. I don't remember how long it lasted, but it wasn'

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The supported jackpot is $69.7 million whereas in the previous run, the supported jackpot was $66.9 million.
And the cash value is now 41.9 vs 39.9. The annuity value is 4.19% higher than in the previous run, but cash value, which is a direct measurement of sales is 4.77% higher. That may be an indication that as players buy in when the jackpot gets bigger the $5 price becomes something they're okay with at lower jackpot levels, too.
Or it might just be because very high jackpots tend t

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot has increased by $30 million to $680 million after 33 consecutive rolls and is the largest Mega Millions jackpot since December 2024. There is a 3.3% chance the jackpot will be won in the October 24 draw with projected sales of $50.5 million. The projected sales are just shy of the record sales for this run at $51.5 million.
A new roll record was set for the second draw in a row. The previous 33 roll record was $625 million. The new record is an increase of $55 mill

Idaho Lottery alerts retailers to possible bulk buying attempt over $877,800 Idaho Cash jackpot
Solution is very simple .
Number one payout on hold pending full investigation. Number two history of the winning number if that number was played regularly or only when the sales spiked. Number three extra Fifty percent tax for fraudulent purchases. Number four what is the normal sales spike and fraudulent sales spike . Number five whoever has the winning ticket needs to undergo FBI investigation plus pass FBI polygraphs. And actually ten different polygraph test to see if they are consist

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot has increased by $25 million to $650 million after 32 consecutive rolls and is the largest Mega Millions jackpot since December 2024. There is a 3.2% chance the jackpot will be won in the October 21 draw with projected sales of $48 million. Even though there is an expected up tick in sales, the annuity factor decreased, offsetting the sales increase.
Despite all the criticism of the slow movement of the Mega Millions jackpot, a new 32 roll record was set with the $6

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
American money going to foreign citizens.
The article points out that According to MUSL, more than half of every $2 Powerball ticket stays in the jurisdiction where it is sold . That the state's share of the ticket price and all of the non-jackpot prizes that are paid by the state to somebody who bought a ticket in that state (roughly another 16% of the ticket price) stays in the state should be a no-brainer. With all of the states that offer PB, varying populations, and the small number of

Help Me Understand This 😭
I've looked for ticket sales data for Millionaire for Life and can't find it. I think it's safe to say that the ticket sales are far less than PB/MM.
