Cash Register Sweepstakes
A lot of stores such as Walgreens now offer monthly draws for prizes of $1,000 to $3,000 dollars for filling out a customer satisfaction survey. Do you spread out your purchases between multiple trips in order to increase the number of chances that you have in such draws? Seems like playing a lottery for free and even the slimmest chance divided by zero cost is a good investment.

The First Time You Play the Lottery Games
I don't remember what year I first started playing lotteries but it was the Irish sweepstakes, (based on Irish horse races), which were illegal here but we played them anyway. There was also a Spanish lottery called the fat one (El Gordo) because the prizes were so big. Some of the Powerball and MegaMillion Jackpots now make it look puny. When New York got its first lottery the Irish sweepstakes died and the rest is history, I've been playing ever since.

464 gaming machines seized in S.C.
Businesses say despite payouts, games aren't illegal gambling
South Carolina authorities seized 464 gaming machines and computers Thursday from 13 York County businesses accused of hosting illegal gambling just over the N.C. state line.
Drawing attention were an increasing number of Internet cafes where customers played video slots with prepaid cards. Business owners defended them as legal sweepstakes. Authorities, however, said the cafes, which pay out money to winners, are thinly veile

Massachusetts store owner wins $1 million
It is hard to trust that a store owner who wins at scratch tickets at his own store is entirely due to luck. In most sweepstakes and contests they have rules against employees entering or winning their own sweepstakes, because if someone from the same company wins it gives the appearance of collusion, fraud and an inside job and undermines trust in the contest.

IL Monopoly Second Chance Sweepstakes
I never heard of a lottery 2nd chance program that didn't require purchase of a lottery ticket.
There must be a technical legal distinction between a sweepstakes and a 2nd chance drawing, where sweepstakes have to allow for non-purchase entries, but 2nd chance drawings can require a purchase. I looked all over the promotion page and tabs with Ctrl+F and they don't actually use the word sweepstakes anywhere.
I guess you'll have to pony up $5 or whatever to enter. I doubt many people w

IL Monopoly Second Chance Sweepstakes
Hi everyone! I was wondering what everyone thought of the Second Chance Promotion when you buy an IL $2 or $5 Monopoly Instant Ticket? Does it make you want to buy more, same or less? They are giving away 10 trips to Las Vegas and the promotion ends at the end of July 2020.
Also, usually Sweepstakes has a No Purchase Necessary requirement to be included in the Rules, but I cannot find it anywhere on the IllinoisLottery.com website how to enter with no purchase. How does the Lottery get awa
