The 90 Degrees System
Thanks lottolaughs, and thanks to all who posted spreadsheets for the system....makes it MUCH easier to backtest states!! LOL When I took a look at FL, I noticed that not changing the number every draw produced more hits. Still trying to figure out when is the best timing for changing the number, but it seems that most of the hits came 2-3 draws after the number was changed. I'd suggest backtesting your state this way..maybe you'll get more strikes ! :)

-SPN Curiosity 2-
I use a spreadsheet for each individual game that I play. I am actually still tweaking and working on these spreadsheets, but basically the balls are ranked based on many factors such as: games skipped, hit% last 100, hit% last 50, skip ratio, and others.....then I go back over months and months of draws and plot on my ranking chart the winning numbers hit. After lots of backtesting I seem to get a spreadsheet that consistantly picks good numbers. For instance, I chose 11 numbers for the Texas C

expectations?
I'd love to win a jackpot or even a few thousand this year, but to be realistic, I will most like lose more than I win in the end. It's the sad truth of the lottery curse. Although, on the bright side, I have been on a winning streak with finding patterns with my system for the pick 3 and 4 games. Been backtesting and good results so far. Now I need to play it for real and not on paper. X <--- fingers crossed for the year !

When you backtest systems..
Is there such a thing as too much backtesting?? What's your limit when you feel whether a system is working or not??? Thanks all!

The no name system
Long term backtesting tends to reveal a few truths, particularly in a single-line system. The most obvious is the gaps between straight hits... regardless of the system, they all tend to have a hit, then skip many months (even years) and then another hit... I wonder about getting several variants together, playing one till it hits then skip that cold spell by jumping to the next...

Beating Gail Howard's Record Using Her Own System Challenge
I keep hearing about this Gail Howard and her system, and I plan to do more research on it and heavy duty backtesting but w/o pitching out $ if possible. You DO know someone who won the 5 a while back, that's me. I played 2 tickets that drawing and used a primitive system. I have to find out what these 72 wins were, like 2 of 5 or 3 of 5, or more? I match 2 of 5 on the PA Cash 5 nearly every time I play but I don't get there often, and in nj 2 of 5 pays nothing even though we have one more #.

Magic Boxes
Dewman, hello! And thanks for stopping in again. Wonderful to hear you are doing backtesting! By all means, please try anything you would like to with these. If you can get them going by adding +333, more power to ya! I will be very curious to hear from you later to see what you are finding. Do as many as you can,the more the merrier. Find what keeps working and then find some more! Thanks! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
