$252 MILLION: largest Mega Millions jackpot in 18 months
Pfftt...Texas hasn't won in the last 9 million years...we are overdue.
I am overdue...to be precise.
I am going to get 39 tickets...so at least I can do my well I at least won something jig.
And I am part of a office pool...so split between the co-workers and all taxes said and done, I'm still in for just over $7 million...not bad.

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
If MM flows like some other p5/+1 games, once you backtest this over a few hundred drawings, you may find that:
among the most recent five drawings you will have plenty of match 2s 3s, a few match 4s, and 5s will be rare (it is dropping over half the number pool for you though, so ...) there will often be one of the five drawings that you would have been able to drop completely (it won't contain any of the winning nums) you will be tempted to expand the size of the drawing range and starting

$252 MILLION: largest Mega Millions jackpot in 18 months
the funny thing is that i bought 55.00 worth of powerball tickets in TN and i did not get one number out of every one of them.
When I ran a pool, I would make up slips with all the MBs or PB's so we were at least guaranteed $2 or $3.....

PS I'll take $330 Mil...

Question about quick picks (auto picks)
Thanks for the info.
Psykomo, I do have my own system for picking my numbers. I use them every week (similar to what Brad Duke did to win his
Powerball), but I just want a QP selector to arrange them randomly from the pool.

What's in your post-JP house?
For me, I would have to say that I would be interested in a new home. Been living in apartments most of my life and just bought a house last year. The bad thing is the neighbors are about 10' on either side of me. I would find a home with several acres along with it, nothing fancy, a 5 BR so that each kid can have their own room and a study/office for me. I would also consider purchasing a home in my wife's home country of the Philippines. A really nice home on the beach with a pool would be a d

This will make you NOT want to play the lottery
SamBuca,
Oh, ok. Your previous post about quick picks and birthdays not being as good as a system made it sound like a system for jackpot games.
If eveey body here at LP was a pool there have certainly been enough Mega Million and Powerball tickets played that should have produced some kind of winner. Hasn't happened that se know of, so kind of debunks the system theory.

Have you looked at the filters available to Platinum members at Lottery Post?
There is an incredible variety of filters for practically any type of scenario. To check it out:
Click the Lottery Wheels Home Page in the Systems menu. Click on the wheel type (Pick 5 or Pick 6). Click on the Full Wheel of your choice as the starting point. Don't worry about the number of tickets shown, because you are filtering and that number will change. Focus on the Numbers column, which is the size of the

Live testing DNA II system
For those that remember my pick 5 system DNA awhile back, well, I just finished the DNA II combined with Lines of Khaos optimization. To do both parts will take a lot of time. The most important part is having the winning numbers within the number pool, and this is done by DNA II.
I'll be posting numbers directly from DNA II prior to the next draw to test it. Even if we get 5 of 5 numbers within the DNA II, it still require wheeling system to put it into one line. This will be up to people pi

Does your state have a cap on triple number are any number?
New York has such a cap on pay-outs and I agree. I would much rather the state adopt a plan simular to the state of New Jersey, which is to pay out on a pari-mutual basis. The winners are divided into the prize pool, the only draw back to this is that you can get and do get lower payouts some days then others.
The cap is in place so as not to bankrupt the state on the daily numbers games. If I am not mistaken there is a five million dollar cap on the payouts per day. I really don't think that
