I'll never win any Jackpot
This is my pool of numbers:
01 03 04 05 07 08 10 11 12 13 14 15 17 19 22 23 25 26 27 28 30 33 35 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 47 48 50 52 53 55 56
Actually all the 56 numbers were in four groups (similar to tiers) but I combined the top two groups into one.

How to Wheel for Florida Fantasy 5?
Let's do the math.
The first number coverage would cost 10 bucks. The inclusion of the second number, 11-20 would add anothe ten numbers for every one of the first numbers, which would be 10x10=100 bucks. And by adding the last numbers, 31-36, it would add another 6, so it would be 100x6=600 bucks.
That would be too high, so I would recommend sticking to just the first and the second number, and just adding one number for the end, like 36 or whatever. That would cost the same as 100 bucks.

Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
In my pool, we play both Powerball and Lotto and bought a $10 Millionaire Raffle ticket with our previous winnings. We buy Powerball for the big prizes, Lotto for the better odds.
As for our numbers, we play a combination of numbers we pick and quickpicks, again to balance things out a little.
We've won a few dollars here and there, but we keep trying.

Lp Members Will Automatically Share w/each other!
Last time I checked, no LP member has ever given me a buck, so no you all would be out of luck if you think I would share even one red cent with you. I am in the school that doesn't advocate lottery pools (diluting the winning impact lessens the thrill of winning is what I believe...I would rather NOT win ALL by myself than to win and have to share with 10 to 100 others lucky smucks!). I also think it is so cheesy when those winning lottery pools dub themselves some lucky name like Lucky 7, etc.

Tax office workers win Powerball lottery jackpot
re-draft all ya want. The facts are no contract is air tight based clearly on most folks who say that a lawsuit can be brought about by the most ludicrious of allegations. Sorry but I stand by the courts and the legal system, that no pay no win still holds true. And to those that make claims that such suits exist, please be exact and name the docket # and dates. Chances are the over generalization that such is going on isnt near the truth of facts. My in law is a lawyer and he has access to case

Tax office workers win Powerball lottery jackpot
any good lawyer would simply take the case on the foundation, ya snooze ya lose! Sorry but if ya didnt pay, ya dont get to decide how the winners money is divided up. A contract has three parts, consent, parameter (guidelines) and signatures..it doesnt have to be written.
My lottery pool is three people, me,myself and I. *grin*
Not a fan of large groups winning but hey, so be it. Just sorry that it had to be a group of women who cant learn to be quiet til AFTER they collect the money.

What's the cut off point for you?
I run a lottery pool in my office which plays Powerball and Louisiana Lotto every Wednesday and Saturday. It's only $4 every payday, and we manage to buy 4 Lotto and 4 Powerball tickets for each drawing.
On my own, I play Lotto and Easy 5 every Wednesday and Saturday. I play Powerball when the jackpot hits $100 million.
As for scratchers, I only play them occasionally, and only if there's a second chance drawing for losing tickets.

Along with what car you'd buy...
Would like to buy a house to start off with, just to get out of apartment living. Then I would find some property and buy that and start the design on the custom home that I want to build for the family.
State of the art design, home theater with theater seating, swimming pool, private office/computer room for me, a kitchen that the wife could work in (most cabinets are too high for her)
Finally, I would schedule a family cruise. Wife wants Disney Cruise for 7 days. I want a extend cruise

I know how you feel Grengrad.
Even though statistically your chances are higher with the pool, what I call your 'real world odds' are not any better, it'll still take a miracle.
Good luck.

Went public too soon?
I wouldn't go public at all if I could avoid it but if I did, I wouldn't do it until I had made my plans for what I plan to do and already made my plans. Since I'm in a lottery pool, whether or not we go public will be determined partially by the other members, not just me.
When I buy Powerball tickets myself(when the jackpot goes over $100 million), if I were to win, I'd stay out of the public eye altogether if I could. On top of that, I wouldn't quit my job right away, I'd wait several m
