Vancouver lottery winner loses in divorce case
A California woman tried that a few years ago. She was in an office pool that won the lottery and since her husband wasn't working and she didn't want to support him, she divorced him before he found out about her lottery winnings. She was fine for a year until he found out about it (she was doing too good without him) so he went back to court to redo their divorce settlement and the judge was so mad at her deceit that he ordered her to give it all to her ex-husband. I think she appealed that

what is the most you've ever spent in one day?
more then a 1 dollar and less then 1k. Sometimes being in a lottery pool has its advantageous for *seeming* to play alot of tickets but in reality it was a group funding. Some for scratch offs some for raffles, some for MultiState games. I love when folks would say I was wasting my money, Id be like, its NOT my money to waste! Its the groups :) Kicker is, we actually faired well between the three various lottery type games.

Powerball offers 10X multiplier this month
Makes the incentive to power up better with the jackpot reset. You have a good payout if ya hit the grandprize as you do being 2nd tier winner. My small office pool is powering up dispite our bad streak lately of not hitting or breaking even. Maybe this will be our payback multiplied by ten! Good luck and good pays to all players!

Did anyone actually fall for it?
Or better yet - ANYONE soliciting MONEY for ANY kind of scheme is not to be trusted. The ONLY people I trust with my lottery money are the folks down at the corner Kwiquee-Martt where I personally go to donate my money twice a week. There are people here I converse with publicly and privately - and I'd NEVER ask anyone to 'go in on a pool' with me.... 'pools' are best left to your local office groups, people you can actually touch and see. Some people call office pools a 'syndicate' MER

Did anyone actually fall for it?
I agree that the word syndicate means pool in the UK. I have posted that in other messages in the past. However, at this point the word syndicate has become subverted to the extent that its usage on the internet is synonymous with the pyramid scams I alluded to. BTW, did you notice how the scammer returned and posted his garbage once again? I fully anticipated that, but if he thinks persistence will break me down, he is mistaken. Go post your junk someplace else.

Do You Give Advice About The Lottery?
I absolutely enjoy hearing some of the off the wall investments people give when they swear they are going to win THE BIG ONE! If for nuffin else its a hoot hearing their dreams and how they picked the combinations they do! I have sworn off being in a lottery pool with some of these folks, they would have the media at their door two seconds after they hit! And I want nothing more then to weigh options BEFORE coming forth...As for quitting work, That is just NOT in my dream book. I like what I do

Lottery Pools?
the lottery is the syndicate. Are you saying you want to be the person in charge of buying lottery tickets for people. like a bookie. i wouldn't try it. But if you wanted to start a small lottery pool you can do that.

Calif. state workers bet the same lottery numbers 10 years -- and win
For the amount of money they are going to share, you know free lotto.com has a thing named FAST where you pay 14 dollars a month, and they play your numbers for you and send you an email letting you know how many you match on each drawing...FAST will play quick picks for you or you can select an option where they select the hottest numbers that have played for that month, and will play them for you every day for every drawing, and drawings are 1 or 2 times a week, so that will be like 3 tickets

What are the Odds: 3 Contractors win 3 of 6 biggest PB & MM Jackpot...
When contractor Jack Whittaker won his prize, he said he bought $100 worth of PB tickets. When the swimming pool contractor in Michigan won his prize he said he bought a hot-dog, used a hundred dollar bill to pay for it and asked for his change in BigGame tickets, the last guy didn't say how many tickets he bought as far as I know so it could be that they all bought a lot of tickets and improved their odds of winning. When a lottery jackpot gets big, more successful people(some are contrac
