Loopholes allow some Michigan lottery winners to stay on welfare
If they only win just a small price I think there will be no problem if they still continue to be on welfare. However if they win a lot and they still continue to be on welfare that will be disgusting. They should get out from the program so other people who are needs the project more should benefit.

Proposal to ban welfare recipients from playing lottery
I think that should this proposal become law, it is going all the way up to The Supreme Court. People on welfare that play lotto are trying to get off welfare.

Proposal to ban welfare recipients from playing lottery
This will be a very big joke for America. first and foremost what makes any one think they can also stop their crack head girlfriends not on welfare from buying the ticket for them. And secondly by banning them from playing the govement is taking away an easy way to get their a.. off welfare and actually have them pay back taxes. Hello is anyone thinking here lol

Virginia woman dreams of Obama, wins lottery
black folks are welfare???...
What the hell does that mean on your planet? Did you ever go to school? Can you not utter one intelligent thought?
Well, just in case I'm guessing right about what you're trying to say, no, numbnuts, I'm not saying only Blacks are on welfare. I'm saying lazy, stupid people like you are on welfare. There are plenty of whites and hispanics on welfare too. And they're just as lazy and stupid as you are.

Lottery bill could limit winner's take
I know exactly what the odds are and I didn't say that is the ONLY way they can get off welfare it's one of many ways to get off the system. The same goes for people who are not on welfare, for some they play for a way out of their situation.

Tennessee may cap lottery winnings at $600 for poor
Don't most states already have it on the books that if a winner over a certain amount has taken government assistance that it would be paid back before they get the money? This just seems messed up if what they're proposing is just because someone has just recently gone onto welfare (let's say with only $2,000 being sent to them) or whatever and won a big jackpot that the state would get the entire jackpot? Then again, it's in the government's best interest to have people rely up on it and not b
