How many raffle tickets to buy?
The latest Michigan $10 raffle has a virtually unlimited number of tickets. How many tickets do you buy? If you buy one, and it was going to win, and then buy another one and change the number of tickets in the pool so that you then lose then you have wasted your money. So how many tickets do you buy when the number of tickets is virtually unlimited? The question is easier when the number of tickets is limited but we are talking the latest Michigan raffle here.

A cousin of mine ran an office pool and wrote the software that generated the Random picks for 13 people. They hit for $20M. Another relative won around $100K. The experiences of neither your relatives nor mine prove anything other than that THEY WERE LUCKY! And you have yet to prove there is any other explanation.

I'm in Az, too. I think originally the pick was 36 numbers, right? Now it's 44. I am guessing your numbers now don't include the 8 additional numbers added to drive up the odds and increase the prize. I quit my old numbers when the odds changed and they added new numbers.
