Fla. Lottery to try vending machines... again
I don't have any use for these machines. They have a habit of eating your money and not giving you your ticket(s).I've had tickets get hung up inside the machine and clerks refuse to open them up to retrieve my hung up tickets. They are nothing but a pain in the a$$.

Either she was very stupid or tried to commit fraud.
If she scanned that ticket at the lottery terminal, she knew it was worth 10.00 because the MACHINE told her it was worth 10.00. Those terminals scan scratch offs also.

I wonder why the lottery headquarters haven't thought of the idea for their lottery machines with duel purposes. Buying ticket from, AND paying out winning tickets. The convinience machines for self service are only programed to purchase tickets from, and to check the tickets. It has yet spit out money for winning tickets. If such machine exist it will eliminate a great amount of con artists.

N.C. lottery store owners, employees winning big and often
They probably scan the tickets in the lotto machine before stocking it in the bin next to other tickets to see if its a winner how much the prize is, then document it on a notepad to remind themself or other employee that when such and such ticket comes up to buy it theirself.

Instant tickets
Yes, bring the error to the attention of the store manager and they will get the machine fix. Then ask for your money back, the amount you put in to get the one ticket.

When the clerk *overpays* you for a winning ticket, you... (choose one)
Florida-- payouts are made after the tickets are scanned, the machine should be right, its always right when you are buying your ticket. For me ,I can t argue on purchase amount ,so I must have overlooked something on my winning. That not the case in when making change or other transactions, I would give the money back

Lottery retailers busted in raid
I agree. I sometimes wonder if someone hasn't found a way to see through the scratch-off ticket using some type of ultra violet or other light. The music thing is definitely a MUST for all machine just like in the Slot Machines.

Well...I say trust the machine. If the machine says that the amount given back is correct...keep the money...but if the clerk is just not counting correctly then help her out. Remember that this may be that same clerk that keeps your money by mistake the next time your in there and are in too big of a rush to realize it. There have been many times with scratch-offs that I missed a number and actually won more than I thought. When they under charge me I always correct them...the one time

Well I told the 4man to go find AVLM. He said how. I said look for a man playing a bunch of your cousins!!! It may be kinda hard cause there is alot of people playing them with him. Then I told Mr 4man to take his azz back to that machine and sit in the front until 11:22. I got one ticket with 4 in the front and I need it to hit tonight!!!
