Tried my first lottery ticket machine today!
I was off today and running errands and used the lottery places app to look in a different area. Found this Bodega type store with a lottery machine. It did allow for a mm multiplier selection and the machine printed my ticket correctly. After hearing other stories, I expected it to eat my ticket or print a partial ticket.

Lotto pet peeves (with vendors & other players)
My pet peave is machines that dispinse scratch off tickets that don't give the ticket that you paid for.Recently my wife I went to a casino and on the way home we stopped at a truckstop to eat. After eating we stopped at the ticket dispinsing machine to buy a few tickets.I put in $3 and could hear the machine shifting its gears to dispense my ticket...but no ticket dropped into the machines tray.I told my wife to go tell the kid behind the counter. The kid told her that he didn't have a key and wa

BOGO - Buy One Get One free
Hello everyone, I have been a long time reader of Lottery Post but decided to register and post something that happened to me today while buying my lottery tickets. This morning I asked the clerk for some cash 4 tickets along with a Mega Million for tonight and a Powerball for tomorrow. After giving me the cash 4 tickets, he went back to the lottery machine and printed me my Mega Million and Powerball tickets. I heard the machine make the sound as if it had printed off 3 tickets instead of ju

"File claim at lottery" error on scratch off
So you learn something new everyday...and I thought I should share. SUMMARY FOR THOSE WHO DON'T LIKE READING LONG POSTS: DON'T TRUST THE MACHINE TO CHECK YOUR TICKETS AS IF IT IS 100% ACCURATE. So my luck usually comes in bundles, in 2016 I won $2500 (draw games) back to back 3x. In 2017, quite a few $500 winners then a $10,000 win at the end of the year (from a five dollar scratch off). So for 2018, win I won $1000 followed by $500, I though ok...time for a winning streak. So I have been

The PA Lottery Ripped Me Off Again ... Part 2
Sorry to read about your bad experiences with the ticket machine. As for me, I'm not big on putting money into any kind of machine. I wont even put cash or a check into my banks ATM. That's probably why I take a pass when it comes to lottery ticket machines. Call me an Old Fool if ya want, but that's the way it is. Here's my lone experience with a Lottery Ticket machine. Last June, my wife and I went to dinner at a restaurant on the banks of New York's Hudson River in upstate NY. After dinner

Lotto phobias
Fear that the winning ticket is in the pocket of your slacks that you just put into the washing machine Fear that the do-it-your-self ticket machine will go down just as you are buying your tickets and the cut off is in 5 minutes .... oh wait that's not a phobia (cuz phobias are irrational) ... cuz it has happened before Fear that just when you finally have THE winning ticket the house will burn down before you can put the ticket into your safety deposit box at the bank Fear that the pe

Lottery vending machine in Monticello, NY
This morning I went back to Mighty M Gaming at Monticello Raceway and won $12.50 on video poker. I also ate a half-price lunch buffet there (with coupon), after buying $10 of New Jersey Pick-6 and $4 of Pennsylvania Match 6. I know Pennsylvania has self-service ticket machines (and Ohio has had them for many years) but today was the first time I knew NY had any. These are the kinds where you put in a betslip and a ticket comes out (rather than scratch-ticket vending machines.) At Mighty M the
