No, anyone can post an image. You got a warning when you attempted to post a LINK to an image. If you want to post an image, you can click the Insert Image button in the editor toolbar and paste the link to the image in the space provided. Anyone still classified as a New Member (regardless of whether they are Standard, Gold, or Platinum) cannot post links on the forums. But anyone can post images using the Insert Image button as I described.

Actually, premium members at Lottery Post can use the simple Image Manager to upload, edit, manage, and post images. It's also available as a one-click option from the text editor toolbar, and from the Members menu ( My Images ).

Very often pictures linked from other web site will only work for a short while. The reason is that other web sites do not like when people link their images, because THEY pay for all the extra bandwidth of showing the picture on other web sites. Lantern, you could never paste images into Lottery Post, so I'm a little confused about that point. (I built the website myself, so I know what capabilities there are and were.) You always have to specify the URL of an image -- that's just the way images work on the Internet. It's not Microsoft Word, it's the Internet. IF you have permission from a website, you can copy and paste an image directly into a post. That's often called hotlinking and unless you have permission, it's theft and is also often copyright infringement. The best thing to do is create an account at an image hosting site, upload the graphic you want to post in here and use the HTML code supplied by the site in your post. The problem is not with Lottery Post, it is with the URL that you pasted. You pasted the URL: http://dacwho.googlepages.com/coyote It should be: http://dacwho.googlepages.com/Coyote.jpg The URL you pasted was to the PAGE containing the graphic, not the graphic itself.
