Lottery Post moves to total encryption
All 2 million+ pages of website now secured by SSL encryption By Todd Northrop As of June 26, 2015, Lottery Post is serving all of its pages over SSL encryption. Previously, security-critical portions of the website, such as the Log In page and the password change page, were protected by SSL encryption, but the remainder of the site was transmitted over normal, non-encrypted HTTP communications. To make the transition to all-SSL connections, the website is currently redirecting all n

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
This is the link that should be used to post the picture. http://photoshopcontest.com/images/fullsize/9i0l6qgnug4sg6hoboj0o6eo3rpxm5cu65fb.gif Do you see the difference? Your link ends in .html - which indicates it is the entire web page. But what you need is the exact location of the specific image - the link I posted, ends in .gif. Which is the url for the image file (a .gif file and more specifically an animated gif, in this case). At most websites you can locate the im

Lottery Post Founder featured in John Oliver HBO segment
Includes video report By Todd Northrop On the final episode of HBO's Last Week Tonight for the year, host John Oliver took a look at state lotteries and argued that they disproportionately take money from the poor by selling hope while failing to deliver on the promise of a better life or improved funding of state programs. Included in the segment was an examination of how difficult the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game is to win. The show borrowed a clip from CNN's New Day program

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
see if that works. Yes, those links take you to your pics and they work. and no, no one stepped up and offered help to figure it out Well, Todd may not be monitoring this thread anymore and he would be the prime person to ask for help. He does have a web page about posting pics. That would be here: Posting an image in a forum message, Blog entry, or for your avatar | Lottery Post: https://www.lotterypost.com/help/131640 I didn't step up yet because I didn't spend all nig

Preliminary hearing rescheduled for Tommy Tipton in lottery rigging case
Investigating drawings up until Tipton's manipulations were discovered would be sensible. The only reason to investigate drawings after that date would be more security shortcomings. If they're not complete morons (a possibility I won't discount) they would have immediately stopped using any RNG that could possibly have been compromised, thereby preventing future issues. If they did that then there's no rational reason to worry about subsequent drawings on those dates. I see only two possibil

Missouri will allow lottery winners to remain anonymous
Like I said in the last post, because of the Court ruling, The NCAA's interim policy, which takes effect Thursday June 24, allows athletes to benefit from their name, image and likeness as long as they follow any relevant state laws. State law makers can decide how athletes can benefit from their name, image and likeness in that state only. Just like state law makers can decide if lottery winners can claim anonymously. I never said the Court ruling had any effect on lottery winners.
