Does God really hate gambling?
Here's what I found on Bible.com, I don't know if there is any truth to their statements, since I don't read the bible myself, but it's worth taking a look at. In my opinion, sin is a sin, that is the best way someone could have ever said it. We sin each day, we probably don't even notice our sins. If you feel so strongly against gambling, or feel guilty on putting $5.00 on a lottery game, then you probably shouldn't play. Jack W. didn't mind to gamble and he is a Christian, and said it was t

Has anyone here ever win anything using l
This is an excellent question of Why I am here . I somehow got hooked to browsing various forums in LP (other than predictions) and I find it interesting and it gives a particular view of the world from a diverse population. At the same time wherever I feel that I can contribute something, I try to do it. Some people may like it and some may not like it and this is ok because it is a normal expectation. But when you say I hope it's not to save us from ourselves , there is no us here. There a

Litmus Test: vtracs
How sad that you took all the time necessary to write that long diatribe, just to go slamming people and ideas. How sad indeed. You must have a lot of time to waste. It doesn't sound very brilliant or genius to me -- just sounds jealous. Good luck! -Todd You talking to me? I said clearly that people should always create ideas, and present them publicly. The key point is to realize when an idea is not a real idea, but a construct of stupidity. The

My take on systems
Hello, I'm also new to the forum. I teach math and often use lotteries as examples of combinatorial and probability problems, I joined the forum out of morbid curiosity after talking with a fellow who spends more than a $100 a month on tix and scratchers. I thought I had met a unique person with a lottery addiction, but turns out there are hundreds, thousands of people like him! Uncle Sam thanks all of them for their voluntary tax payments. Anyway, you are right about the wheel systems as th

How do you use sums and roots to predict the next number
OK here is what I do.... First you usually have a bonus number ie the power ball number. Seperate this number from the rest as it is drawn separate from the larger pool. Look at the other 5 numbers kinda like a five number lottery. It is much easier to simpley play a most frequent bonus number set and reducce the number of combos played. The list in one of the prevous posts looks alot like the list of most frequent sums from Gail Howards site, while this is not a bad thing, you must remember the

Pi: Faith in Chaos an Independent Film
Synopsis of Requiem for a Dream: No middle ground here; you'll either love or hate Requiem for a Dream. Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and Marlon Wayans are best friends and amateur drug dealers looking for a big score. Trouble is, they're their own best customers. As they descend into the nightmarish hell of addiction, Leto's mother (Oscar-nominee Ellen Burstyn) also finds herself hooked on barbiturates. Not for the squeamish. I'll have to add it to my Netflix list

93.83% chance of winning - Is it enough?
Well, there isn't system for picking correct 5 + 1 numbers. The point is to narrow it at reasonable amount, where there is possibility. Yes, drawings are distinct and exclusive, yet randomness should prevail. Anyway, i'm not here to argue. Doesn't hurt to have a topic and make predictions right? P.S. I'm still looking for anyone that analyzes solely Mega Million, and stays away from that morning/midday/evening lotto 2/3/4/5 crap :) P.S#2 - Not that i'm against lotto, but i have differe
