Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
If you have a cigarette addiction and willing to spend more money, there are medications and addiction programs that will help you deal with your addiction. I'm sure there are some similar programs for lottery addiction, but if you can afford to play and you enjoy playing, it's not an addiction.

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Very true,P4P...plus its just another tax on the populace.....most people fail to realize that if we had a strong jobs base whereby tax revenue could be collected the lottos wouldn't even exist today....the Govt. found out long ago just like with the cigarette industry that once you addict someone you have a constant stream of revenue...and Ive yet to hear an addict complain about thier addiction....

Jack Whittaker Foundation
I'm not that down. I have a good job , but did go through a bad time recently and depleted all my resources. If someone is giving it away, why not ask for a little ? What's the worst they can say ? No ? Nothing ventured, nothing gained.I do play the lotteries, as a choice, not a habit or addiction. I stumbled across this website researching info . and joined the forum to ask a question.Have a nice day !!

Powerball can you PLEASE create a 3rd Powerball that cost: 25 cents the ticket
I thought most poor people just grabbed from the free food stamp and welfare handout bag anyway, which pretty much funds their lottery and cigarrette addiction nonetheless. Even this rise to the $2 powerball probably wont make them flinch.

CA=pari-mutuel prizes for MM
In my opinion, without the JP, there is no reason to play? If the point is to win money, there are casino games with better odds. I can get more consistency at blackjack or poker. If the point is to get a large return on the amount bet (e.g., $1 becomes $20,000), then I could see why some may play for the smaller prizes. I just do not understand how some players can drop $40, $70, or $100+ on each draw using a number system in attempts to beat the game. For some it seems it is their form

That's it, I'm done. No more draw games.
Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat. I seriously need to stop playing the 3-digit. Many years ago it was so fun because I was hitting $500 at least once or twice a month. It's nothing like that now and they took away the Human People that would press the button on the machine. Now I feel it's rigged and they can play whatever video drawing they want. Oh well, it was fun, but the State got greedy and I need to let my addiction to this lottery go.

Going Broke?
To me, personally, if you're spending too much on the lottery then you should cut back especially if it's becoming an addiction. What I typically do is set aside an amount per paycheck and I only play one game, which in my case is the Classic Lotto here in Ohio. I don't play scratch-offs or any other game, I find it easier to control it that way. Just a word of caution though. A friend of mine use to play a game here in Ohio and I believe a few years ago it was called Super Lotto , I think. A

North Carolina Keno
I thought I'd never see anyone from NC talking about Keno.. finally! I've been playing keno since early last year, I've had some good luck - (and some real bad luck brought on by my own addiction to it) I normally pkay 5 spots 20 draws $1/draw ($20 ticket) I do have a set of digits that are ny go-to's, and have hit 20+ times $420 ea. Then I've also had decent luck on multiplyers with 4 spots @ $1/draw. Most I've pulled in over a day is $1500 or so (tax free since all were $500 or less)

buying multiple tickets, but only changing one number?
THE LOTTERY 50/50 RULE=PLAYING THE LOTTERY IS A WIN/LOSE SITUATION NO MATTER HOW MANY TICKETS WE BUY. THE LOTTERY 50/50 RULE will save Time and Money. Read it multiple times, and you will get its true meaning. You will also avoid having a Gambling Addiction. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY.

Megamillions and Powerball Games
adulane62 Good to hear from you, why bozo feels the need to educate us is beyond me. Ego trip I guess, must be an addiction he can't break. I know the math, I have ran the numbers but jimbo just can't get it through his thick skull that I will use whatever I want to use when playing the lottery. Jimbo want's to save everyone here from my stupidity and ban the playing of digits. Maybe some day someone will choke or even die from digit selections but until then I will consider t
