BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER $1 million winner 6/14/2012 luck or...
giving my two cents on this...I think its great to win..and if I hit 12 times in a row even better..store owner or not..I think lottery retailers and lotto offcials should be able to play the lottery...especially the jackpot games...assuming all parties walk in integrity, honesty, and truth..because if the jackpot games are truly random based on the ball set drawings then evervybody should be able to play..When it comes to scratch offs..I think store owners and family in which family is quite su

Retired Games
Twice this month I got duped and bought a ticket for a retired game. Different retailers. I thought that the lottery rep would make sure a retailer wasn't selling retired games but I guess it is up to the retailer's own sense of ethics. I don't really follow prize reports etc but I think I will be getting at least familiar with the list now.

Watch out for "vultures"
I trust you wrote your comment tongue-in-cheek. In case you're not kidding, if you go to a casino and play a slot machine for 4 hours and then walk away, there is no rule of ethics that says the next person can't win on the first try. That's why it's called gambling.

In addition to change of ownership and businesses shutting down resulting in ticket destruction this also happens when: Retailers give the rest of an active book back to their rep for credit, the rep offers (potentially acting like the retailer doesn't have a choice) to take back part of an active roll, theft (fire, water damage, etc), all can cause tickets to be destroyed without accounting for them. The reasons a retailer may push back part of an active book can be crappy sales, need more room

Post your scratch ticket results
Yep - but make sure you call the commission and see if it's against the rules there. I'd be demanding the money from that clerk. Like for real - I'd bug out. There's good business and there's bad, and I'd be snip ed sure to let everyone know of bad business. Hell, I no longer go to a Subway in town because the guy working that BSed me around for 5 minutes about a coupon as a joke. (Some Fresh of the Boat Indians are so ridiculous - and don't understand the business ethics of this country

NYS lotto Scratch off's (DIRTY SECRET) information that is not revealed to the public-SCAM OR NOT?
Sounds like you might have another class action law suit. In your case they are destroying unsold tickets regardless of the fact that there are prizes left in those unused books. If thats there policy then what could be done to change that practice. If it's in their charter or bylaws to do so what can be done to stop that. Who knows! you might need to contact the comptrollers office or the state board of ethics if you have one...........or the lieutenant Governor. Tell them what the lotter

That's ridiculous if the game hasn't been orderable, the warehouse should have 0. They shouldn't have some (essentially) hidden supply that they can send out at their whim if stores can't order it. It's misleading to the stores and public in general. Seriously, with this and them destroying tickets, without accounting for them in inventory reports, I wonder if anyone at FL Lotto knows what ethics are. Also, how is HM sold out to the point where they have nothing to ship, but HG still has 700

NYS lotto Scratch off's (DIRTY SECRET) information that is not revealed to the public-SCAM OR NOT?
Hi Sam, As a lottery player and huge scratch off ticket fan living in Brooklyn, I have long questioned the ethics of NYS lottery officials. I buy the $10 tickets and have NEVER won more $1000 on one ticket. When I think about all of the tickets I've purchased over the years - and given the systems odds, well.... There was a tv show on Dateline NBC a few weeks ago about lottery scams in California, and NY was asked if they'd like to participate - and they declined. No surprise there. The

retailers that have no morals and will switch out winning tickets for non winning tickets
Listen I have a friend who is from India. He owned a store here in Queens. He was a very nice guy or so I thought. We became friends over the years. About 3 or 4 years ago he left the country very fast. They shut the store down and left the USA so fast and left everything behind. Everything in the store I mean everything. And one day he sent me an email and we started to chat. I acted like I knew nothing but I had heard rumours about something to do with lottery tickets etc. So we started to
