I think it is because NC has always been such a challenge for players, especially since fireball. We are a baby on the list of states that have had the lottery, not that many years unlike say Virginia, which is where most people drove to buy lottery tickets from NC. Other than that I am not sure. I am sure there are others that might could give you a better explanation. Thanks for the update for NC ! 877 dropped for day draw!

I recall writing this and in bold print had to Quote it today, and look! It came out, very happy I left it in, as it most comes out these digits 806 during January or MARCH, MAY, yep. Are you having issues with getting your tickets cashed? Lottery employees on this site please tell Tennessee Lottery CEO that it is getting harder to cash tickets in the store. They don't keep enough cash on hand. Please partner up with a bank or create your own cash ticket payout system (ATM). We shouldn't have to go all the way to Nashville to cash multiple $500 tickets. This is a company making billions of dollars and people can't cash their tickets. My number for today 722!

Interesting, bought 2 tickets last night at separate lottery retailers , requested a QP for the $1 change left over and both times got 059 . I do not like 0 leading anything, it just never is appealing to me , by historical predictions above I guess its a must play now :(

you would think thats the way it plays, I have a couple tickets even a pick 4 that we all were sure they were winners , at least a box winner since FireBall says replaces any number on the ticket to make a winning combo. I would say your 505 is replacing the 5 with the 4 making it 504 a straight win $100 and box $17 depending on wager amount. Girl at the lottery counter told me the misunderstanding happens all the time......... it doesn't anymore in my case because they can shove that FB!!

Question about the Texas pick 3 lottery
I've noticed that Texas doesn't print out the ticket separately. What I mean is. let's say I pick a number like 123 Straight 5 times on the play slip and it comes out Straight. Is the payout paid out as 5 separate tickets or is it taxed because it's over $600? Not knowing the answer what I've been doing is asking the clerk to put the play slip of the number five times to avoid getting taxed. In New York, each number is printed out separately. I know that it's close to draw time but, I just wanted to share this. While I was getting my tickets for tonight, there was a guy in front of me playing the lottery. I noticed that he was playing the pick 3. He mentioned that he has a strategy that involves +1 -1. So, I asked him if he had any good numbers for tonight. He said to play 33 pair with 0-9. I don't know if he was being truthful or just pulling my leg. But, I played them anyway.
