Virginia's real problem* was lost when the topic changed to how many stores people can own. *Many of the stores selling lottery tickets had skill gaming machines and apparently they profited much more than the average 5% the lottery pays. A new law made the machines illegal.

Verbal contracts to share a potential lottery win/gambling related are impossible to enforce in most jurisdictions. It is based on indefiniteness, etc. and there really is not an offer and acceptance as in a contract. I rarely buy scratch off but when I do, it's the Five dollar tickets. I would research the ticket jackpot wins switch buying locations. Not sure if it's true but a lottery winner has a video clip where larger winning lottery scratch off tickets are never sold at same location.

What's up everyone. And happy mother's day! Is anyone in here from Maryland? I don't know if it's just me. But do there scratch offs seem to be paying out less? Before computer draws. I used to win more buying scratchers. Before when I bought tickets I would atleast recoup some of my money back. Now it seems like little to none. Is this just me?
