Some casinos have stopped selling lottery tickets
The casinos owned by Pinnacle Entertainment, Penn National have stopped selling lottery tickets at their Boomtown, Hollywood Casino locations in Louisiana, Mississippi. The lottery has become competition in this Covid-19 economy. I actually went to the casinos to buy lottery tickets. It's the end of an era for me at those casinos. The casino gift store clerk who would sell me my lottery tickets, is now working at a checkout lane at a grocery store, she got laid off.

CAN I BUY POWERBALL TICKETS THROUGH THE INTERNET?
Some lotteries do sell TO THEIR RESIDENTS through the Internet but generally, no, at least not in the way that you might hope. Powerball tickets can only legally be purchased at a state lottery sales terminal in the lottery jurisdictions that sells the Powerball game. A lottery can also legally sell tickets on the Internet, but only to persons within its own state. No one can sell lottery tickets by mail or over the Internet across state lines

Creating a Line at the Convient Store
They make plenty of money off of the sale of lottery tickets. If they didn't make money off of lottery tickets they wouldn't be selling lottery tickets.Maybe they don't make as much off of lottery tickets as they do from their overpriced milk bread, but its only because they can't charge more for the tickets than the state allows. Why should a person buy something they don't want when they buy lottery tickets?

a lottery website
Michael Brown,Actually, I think you have things a bit reversed:The state lotteries are the LEGAL lotteries that you can play. If you want your friend in Florida to buy some lottery tickets for you, then that's fine, right? We'll that's what a service like Prime Ticket Service does. That's all and good. In fact, there have been several jackpots won by people who bought tickets using lottery services like Prime Ticket Service, and every single person who won using a service was able to legally
