When Is The Best Time To Buy Lottery Tickets?
I'd like to know if there is any particular time of day considered the best time to buy lottery tickets? Any ideas or believes on this idea?

Todd,I can't envision any state having a scheme to not pay out any prize money because someone who would talk. I was thinking of the kind of corruption revealed recently in the scam of the lottery worker and his two buddies buying the million dollars scratch-off ticket.The other day while I was buying my lottery tickets, another lottery player remarked that he had bought a box/straight pick3 ticket everyday for the last 3 months and hadn't won anything and the pick3 game had to be a scam. Firstly, you have posted numerous threads. Are you desperate to win? If so, the lottery is about the worst way. A local casino would be a far better alternative - much better odds, and instant cash (lotteries don't pay out quickly for even moderately low prizes, such as $600-$5,000 depending on locale). o wow thanks for explaining taxijohn....so for any picks that have triples, should always play combo?? so for box,straight,combo have to be 50cent bet and higher?? i have been trying to follow up on your posts,emeralds,and slugger....lol also about the check and 1099 for taxes for losing lottery tickets, is it only for lottery tickets and scratch off's for the current year?? also i contacted nylottery about that and they said you can only use the losing tickets when you claim a winning ticket
