Store-specific lottery ticket paper?
Today while getting a Powerball ticket at a Quick Trip, I asked why their fast-processing machine wasn't working yesterday. The clerk said it was because the machine ran out of paper, and they had to wait on the lottery service to deliver more paper that was specific for that store. What I found interesting is that the clerk said the paper was store specific. Maybe as fraud prevention in case someone figures out how to thermally print a fake ticket after a draw?

Once in a while a payslip reader machine will not read one of my, mostly perfectly, printed playslips... And the clerk will want to hand it back... I find it interesting that most clerks don't know that, here in Missouri, the playslip reader can read a payslip from 4 different directions...
