California man asks clerk to choose a lottery game for him, ends up picking out a ticket worth $10M
Great story but we all want to know how much he tipped the clerk for this. This is why I would never ask for a quick pick. The timing of a clerks fingers on a machine is what you are basing your selection of numbers on. It is different with a scratch ticket though. They are up there on the wall and it does not matter how long it would take him to select one for you. Having the clerk select the right ticket deserves a far larger tip since he is making a decision for you rather than hesitating wit

Arrested for buy too many Lottery tickets?
I stopped at a liquor store one night. I purchased a soda and a scratch off. While I was standing in line, I heard the lottery machine printing. I went back to my car and scratched off my ticket. If I'm not mistaken, I won $10 on the ticket. Decided to purchase two more tickets. I went back inside and heard the machine was still running. I noticed the amount at the bottom was $500+ I thought it was a nightly audit or something. Nope. Someone had called the store and played their numbers. That wa

Accidental lottery ticket purchase nets Maryland couple $2 million in Powerball
Maryland resident here! Once you scan an old ticket, the machine will ask if you'd like to replay your numbers or not. If the ticket is too old, you would manually enter your numbers. Another function I love about Maryland machines is that you can actually see the QP numbers on the screen and choose to throw those back or purchase that ticket. I noticed in VA and NC that those machines don't allow you to see the numbers first.

California couple face felony charges for stealing $135 worth of Iowa Lottery tickets
That playslip gizmo reminds me of what an idiot did. You scan the scratch ticket above as you know. this fool forced the scratch ticket into the playslip thing and shut the whole machine down.

Texas Legislature proposes bill to block online lottery courier services
A person has to buy the ticket themselves, and not use any service to acquire their tickets, except for the ticket buyer to go into the store location themselves. A person has to buy their tickets at the counter, or lottery ticket vending machine is how I interpret it.

$20 tip turns into $100,000 lottery prize for Maryland Uber driver
Happy tears for this winner and his family after winnings provide means for a meaningful trip By Kate Northrop A lucky Uber driver decided to use an unexpected $20 tip to buy a lottery ticket, which in turn earned him a six-figure prize. What others might call a risk turned out to be a rather lucrative decision for an anonymous Maryland man who netted a $100,000 lottery prize using a large tip he received from a customer. At the end of a Friday night filled with jetting Uber cu

$1.08 billion Powerball lottery winner Yanira Alvarez filed claim for jackpot over five months ago
Congratulations to her, that seems like a stressful process to go through ( BUT! I'm willing to do it!! Lol ). I'm wondering if found tickets are eligible to be claimed? For example I have found multiple tickets in lotto machines when purchasing my own due to the fact that the lotto machines in my state are old and have a glitch that the last ticket you buy doesn't fall down, it stays stuck and you need to reach in there and pull it out manually. When I first moved here I lost ticke

I will pay you $5k if you can find this information.
I will pay you 5K for information on a stolen draw ticket. First thing that comes to mind is, it has to be a scam. It's not, I have better things to do, and so do you. After my Lottery ticket was stolen on June 7/2017 1:02pm At Old Town Market 405 E. Clark Ave. Orcutt Ca. 93455 I could never imagine the amount of lies and total disregard for the Law I would be facing. What I'm looking to find is the date my ticket won. I bought the ticket at Orcutt Liquor and Deli. (today it's just Orcutt Liquor

Accidental lottery ticket purchase nets Maryland couple $2 million in Powerball
And of course it happened to me after posting this. Had a $4 winner on Cash for Life. Machine asked me if I wanted to cash it in Y/N? I said yes and missed that the next question was do I want to REPLAY the C4L ticket? I thought the prior question 'didnt take' and was asking me again if I wanted to cash it in so hit yes and ended up getting a replay of the ticket. Lets hope its a 'happy' replay
