Standing in line next to the ticket machine at Publix to buy a few tickets I watched an old guy buy one $5 Monopoly - he scratched it right there and it was $1000 5X ...... he could hardly speak English - muttered something and showed me the ticket - told him I'll give you $100 cash money for the ticket ... he walked away... The Madness ticket below is not a claimer by any means - but $150 has the highest odds for winning ..... 1 in 1,712 ........ the $500 is 1 in 136 ....... G

Thank you Cape. I dont think CA never gives a 2mil jackpot on a $10, i could be wrong there is a set for life ticket they do that has larger prizes than usual for each denom, i caught wind of a rumor of that type of ticket coming back soon ill find out then. Hi Cape, glad you feeling better. Ill give it a go with the tip with my nearby grumpy spot and thanks for letting me know how much and whom to, didn't think of that about the owner. Stopped in Publix this morning and 500x was gone from machine and counter so guess it's all publix's I wonder if they will do a re order. I liked that game, although the blue $50 ticket seems better on paper

Can scratch-off tickets be duplicated? I purchased two $30 Scratch-off tickets both of them were winners totaling $140.00 When I cash them in the cashier removed the remaining tickets and said they were sold out. a few days later I decided to go with the $25 tickets this time it was the crossword on the back of the ticket has an extra crossword printed on the back which you fold I won on both of these 2 tickets as well totaling $125.00 when I cash them in this same cashier then shuts

Thank you Cape. And yes, I agree that 2% is significant. So either I have just been having some bad luck or the lottery has pushed a good bit of the $500s to lower in the pack. But that wouldn't make sense. It's still +EV chasing the $500. I won $630 today. Not the greatest but still decent. First pack of the day was full pack and hit on ticket #028. Best win in a while. Second pack was on #027 when I arrived. It's not a machine I had ever seen chased before so I took a chance on it. #023 was $1

So I've been out of state for a bit and got back just a couple days ago. My kinda similar story (albeit much less $ at stake) unfolded when I was at the grocery store (not the closest Publix market to me but one nearby) getting some stuff to restock after being away.
