Ontario Lottery launches a new type of instant ticketReply
The way that reads, it seems like there is a vulnerability introduced: If you can find out the winning numbers (since they were already drawn), hack a lotto ticket machine to print out a winning ticket. Also, if a player can immediately, after purchase, scan the ticket to see if it is a winner, it seems much like an instant draw game. I've never played an instant draw game because its a computer draw.

Hi Skeptic, its good to know there's good people out there, respecting elders . I'd take that kind of kindness you shown any day, so much hate in the world these days. You definetly deserve the top jackpot prize or the one below it, maybe they saving them for you by taking the smaller jackpots. I dont think CA never gives a 2mil jackpot on a $10, i could be wrong there is a set for life ticket they do that has larger prizes than usual for each denom, i caught wind of a rumor of that type of ticket coming back soon ill find out then. it happened again ! A while back I was at Publix heading to the ticket machine when an old guy and me almost collided to buy tickets .. I asked him to go first ... age before beauty :) ..... he bought ONE ticket, scratched it standing there while I bought a couple of the same game ... think it was the old 100X .... anyway he got a $1K claimer ..... my 3 were duds ..... Sounds like a state hasn't verified their ticket sales numbers apparently if the count is off by one ticket someone is able to take the numbers to a machine select them and if they know how to hack the machine to make the time stamp correct you can claim the ticket as a legitimate win quite the loophole indeed .

Store-specific lottery ticket paper?
Today while getting a Powerball ticket at a Quick Trip, I asked why their fast-processing machine wasn't working yesterday. The clerk said it was because the machine ran out of paper, and they had to wait on the lottery service to deliver more paper that was specific for that store. What I found interesting is that the clerk said the paper was store specific. Maybe as fraud prevention in case someone figures out how to thermally print a fake ticket after a draw?
