I haven't lost a dollar in the lottery so far.
Welcome to the lottery world! I like to buy scratchers that have a lot of winners left and that have second chance cash drawings. That way if my ticket doesn't win I might make it on the second chance. I also buy 10 of the same ticket in one shot and I always win something. A few times it was $100. Haven't won big yet but hope.to someday. Other tips I have are don't spend more than you can afford to lose and have fun.

$2B Powerball winner spotted in $250,000 vintage Porsche 911
The reasons why many big lottery winners go broke after the win (if they don't take the annuity option) is because they receive the money in a very short window of time, they are financially illiterate and they overspend. Most millionaires earned their fortunes over a long period of many years. Just like pro athletes that have a very short earnings window, so do lottery winners. Couple that with being illiterate financially and the tendency to overspend they go through their money like a hot

Winning the JACKPOT: Is it Fate, Destiny or Luck?
I would say a combo of luck, and belief. If I truly believed I would never win, I wouldn't play. Not just the big jackpots, but hitting 1,2,or 3 numbers. That gives me enough faith to think one of these days. I'll hit all 6.

Should You Hire a Money Pro if You Win Millions?
Though we have several pretending they are, I'm not sure that anyone here could prove they have a license to practice law and give sound legal advice for every state and provincial lottery jurisdiction. Posters can research laws in states where they don't live in or purchase lottery tickets from, but I'd check with a real lawyer before taking any Online legal advice. Large prize lottery winners will have to make many decisions their new found wealth and how they claim their winnings is the most

Biggest reason for Lottery Winners going broke soon? :/
I think some of it is giving money away to people thinking they are friends then when the money is gone, the friends are gone. Some people the winner helps will keep coming back for more money again and again. Some winners also buy big ticket items like mansions, supercars, etc. that have high upkeep/maintenance costs, that also eat away the money. A lottery win can act as a magnifier for a person, increasing the good and bad in their lives, but it can be used to conquer those bad thing

Your reaction to being the only winner of MM or PB?
Both Sully and Hearsetrax win the internet this week for the most truthful and accurate statements on lp. But weasels do not learn. I am always amused when the weasels refer to members as uneducated while their own substandard English provides laughs for all. The lp members from other nations put the weasels to shame. They will always be unhappy. They think other members want to be like them which is pure delusions of grandeur. Let's all win big this year!

Your reaction to being the only winner of MM or PB?
Lol lol. NEVER has a truer statement been made in the history of LP. 2 old men whining like teens about their posts being downgraded. I think they have more posts deleted than any other member. I was told that one loves to whine about my posts in his blog . Sad old men. Happy New Year Hearsetrax. Win big this year!

Play 10 tickets every drawing or $100 once every two weeks?
With the ridiculously high odds the difference is extremely small, but playing 25 tickets for a single drawing gives you a slightly better chance of winning than playing the same number of tickets over multiple drawings, the trade off is that it's impossible to win the jackpot twice when you only play for one drawing. The far better reason to play in a single drawing is that you can play for a bigger jackpot. If you don't have a gambling problem and don't need to have that chance for every d

Playing Quick Picks Versus Picking Your Own Numbers
There's a little bit extra that I didn't add to post above due to a famous easily recognizable name being involved. (Which I'm not going to post) The owner of the deli told my friend that a famous person sends their personal assistant to the deli to buy thousands of dollars worth tickets especially when either MegaMillions or PowerBall is advertising a big jackpot. The personal assistant told the deli owner that the famous person has told them they intend to give the money to charity should

Wit and Wisdom of old lottery players...
Gail Howard never a big jackpot and Richard Lustig is the only lottery winner I know of that wrote a how to win the lottery book but I'm sure there are many. Not sure if he had a system for picking numbers or bought lots of QPs but some of his nine tips make sense. That yard sale was in middle of the Bible belt but the woman's ex-husband spent lots of time in Atlantic City. Had a couple copies of American Turf Monthly and one had an interesting article about spot plays similar to what Viktor
