Consider the norm to be six weeks from the date in which you claim. It will take a good healthy 10 days of banking clearence just to get the money funnelled thru. (thats two weeks right there!). Then another 7 to ten business days for YOUR bank to hold the funds for clearance. You see each state has to contribute to the main jackpot fund, and this is all done at a snails pace! ( Who'd want to fork over money quickly when it can gain interest in a months time!) So there goes another two

This has evolved into a pretty good thread. I'm surprised that nobody bothered to rate it before now, so I just rated it as Excellent - 5 stars. Nothing changes the odds of hitting a jackpot, but my own experience has shown me that employing some systematic methods can result in cashing more and bigger tickets for the secondary prizes. I think that perhaps the concept you should consider is, first, OTHERS WILL MOST DEFINITELY select the same set of numbers as you. Does not matter if you share what you select or NOT. If a random group of people is selected and asked to just pick 5 numbers between 1 and 39, you will have several that will either be the same or pretty close, depending upon just how large a group of folks you involve.
