Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge.
Anyone here taking the million dollar portfolio challenge on cnbc.com I'm giving it shot having never really invested on my own besides the portfolio's i had when i worked. I find it interesting for some reason. Since the game gives you 1 million fictitious bucks to play with you can find out for yourself how well you could do investing for yourself. The first week i did pretty good then the bottom dropped out i got scared and sold a lot of stocks i had bought because of the two day slum

If I reduce the MM or PB number pool by half and play 3o2e/3e2o...(?)
First, you aren't reducing the number pool at all. Each of the 56 choices can be used in any combination that mixes odd and even. If you want to reduce the number pool to half you'd actually eliminate half of them from consideration. Whether you get rid of all the odd numbers, all the even numbers, 1 to 28, 29 to 56, or eliminate half of them at random, cutting the number pool in half means choosing from a pool of 28 numbers. Picking 5 numbers from a pool of 28 there are 98,280 possible combina

What would you do if you won 10 Billion dollars..
You need to realize - cigarettes don't kill people, people smoking cigarettes kill SOME people: IE: Las Vegas - if nobody went there, it would fold. Also, there are lots of things to do in Vegas that do NOT involve gambling... it is becoming quite the family destination, almost like Disneyworld or Hollywood. I also find it ironic you have a thing against Las Vegas, (maybe the gambling ???), yet you want to invent an 'easy' lottery ???????? Is that not the same thing ? You make it easy so

What is Chaos55?
I do believe the above statement needs a reply........are you referring to the following?......... 4. Numbers white balls 22 to 26 and 35 to 39......combinations of these numbers are strongly advised against by Chaos55. If you use these numbers then use only one of them and 4 other random numbers. 5. Absolutely do not combine the odd numbers of #4 above. Absolutely do not combine the even numbers of #4 above. Read it carefully again...........As you will now see....In point 5 I lis

Mega Millions: How long to recieve jackpot?
Consider the norm to be six weeks from the date in which you claim. It will take a good healthy 10 days of banking clearence just to get the money funnelled thru. (thats two weeks right there!). Then another 7 to ten business days for YOUR bank to hold the funds for clearance. You see each state has to contribute to the main jackpot fund, and this is all done at a snails pace! ( Who'd want to fork over money quickly when it can gain interest in a months time!) So there goes another two

What would you do if you won 10 Billion dollars..
You're right, except that it was all the way back in the early 90's. They actually bought an entire business that was already a lottery retailer (a chain with 35 lottery machines), closed it to the public and printed tickets for 3 days straight. They reportedly managed to print about 6 of 7 million possible combinations, spent a bit of time freaking out because they didn't have their sure thing, and then found that they did have the only winning ticket. The Virginia lottery said that they had

What would you do if you won 10 Billion dollars..
And I would hope and pray the jackpot never got to 10 billion dollars, rest assured it NEVER would, as soon as it got to a billion dollars you would see syndicates come out of the woodwork and 'buy' several machines and crank out every combo possible, because all it would cost is 146 million dollars. Sounds like a decent payback to me......... While theoretically possible, the odds against reaching 10 billion with the current PB or MM odds are practically infinite. As far as syndicates try

Lottterypost Pick 5 Wheels Question
Fellow Forum Members, I am seriously studying the LotteryPost Pick 5 Wheels available in the link below: https://www.lotterypost.com/wheels-5.asp#key The one wheel that interests me the most is the one shown below: Key 4 if 4 of 15 15 4 if 4 91 Highly balanced (Each non-Key number appears 26 times) I know that a FULL WHEEL that allows one to pick 15 numbers in order to hit 4 numbers costs a total of $1,365. In contrast, this wheel costs $91 to play

The lotto is IMPOSSIBLE to win
Let me explain because I do NOT think that you all are grasping what I am saying. Lets say a guy from Germany paints addresses on curbs, outside of houses. And so does a man from England. One day the man from Germany goes to 1111 Johnson street, and paints 1111 on the curb at 1111 Johnson street, then the next day goes to Green Ave and paints 1212 on Green street at that address. Ok no big deal right? Exactly. No big deal. Yet it turns out that the man from England paints does exac
