Supposedly, it replaced the Hot Lotto game which was destroyed by Eddie Tipton who programmed winning numbers in for relatives, friends, and eventually himself when he worked for the lottery, and was caught and sent to jail. Well, that's debatable. Personally, I don't believe the best way to get into any lottery drawing is with a group. The draw of the lottery, especially a game like Powerball, is winning a massive pile of life-changing cash. Getting into a group with perhaps dozens of others takes away the risk/reward ratio that Powerball offers. Yes but it was actually the first grand prize in that game, 1 more left now. It was hit at a Publix in downtown Ft.Lauderdale that I've drove past many times but never went in I think we will see a press Release with the winners name after the 90 days is up.
