A verbal Lottery joke agreement wouldn't hold up in Court, would it?
Tom, if I ever win The Powerball 1.5 Billion Jackpot, I'll give you $20 Million, but I'm sure I'll never win it, Sounds like a verbal contract that specifies your obligations if you win, even if it's unlikely that you'll win.

Does weather have anything to do with numbers?
Temperature changes cause things, including drawing equipment and gases, to expand or contract. Besides temperature, humidity also changes the density of gases. That means the exact size of all the drawing equipment, and the density of the gases the equipment moves through will vary from drawing to drawing. I'll leave it to others to describe the effects that result from weather affecting the drawings, except to note that there's no effect on the numbers.

How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
Verbal contracts to share a potential lottery win/gambling related are impossible to enforce in most jurisdictions. It is based on indefiniteness, etc. and there really is not an offer and acceptance as in a contract. Now, if it concerned a married couple, that is different since it would be property acquired during a marriage. And if you give someone money to purchase lottery tickets on your behalf, that is different as well. And I agree that you are opening a can of worms by giving

A verbal Lottery joke agreement wouldn't hold up in Court, would it?
If you both tell the court there was agreement, laughingly or not, the court will likely uphold that agreement. Even if you are laughing, and they laugh too, there was an oral understanding, an offer tendered without conditions and acknowledged. In most states that would be an oral contract. G

What are the rights of lottery players as consumers
I think you can get a good answer to your question by looking at what happened to the people who won the jackpots immediately after the fraudulent wins orchestrated by Eddie Tipton. The money claimed by Tipton and his accomplices obviously should have gone to other players but the lotteries fought the subsequent winners when they tried to claim to money that would have rolled over if Tipton's fraudulent wins hadn't taken it. In the case of the guy who won Hot Lotto the lottery tried to wease

I need some history checking software
I can see the headline now..... Millionaire forced to institute restraining order against persistent young ******; Ministry of ******* considers terminating her contract due to bad press. Lol... Actually, I have thought of it, but I am pretty certain he has put measures in place against being approached by random strangers by now. I could probably get to meet him though all things considered. However, what would be his incentive to tell me anything when we are living in the same area a

Joining a lottery club?
Given a choice of joining a lotto pool with a group of strangers or a group of friends and family, I will always take the strangers. With friends and family, pools tend to be informal. There is always the cousin who asks to be looked after if the pool wins even though they never contribute. And then someone says, don't worry . They have just made a promise on behalf of the group. Then there is the freeloader who always promises to pay next week but never does. They will expect a share. And o

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
Made tacos, went to the garden, just read this and WOW! I'm laughing. Where is your faith in humanity to do the dumbest thing they can think of? In 2005, a Romanian prisoner identified as Pavel M, serving 20 years after being convicted of murder, filed a lawsuit against the Romanian Orthodox Church, as God's representatives in Romania, for failing to keep him from the Devil, essentially stating that his baptism had been a binding contract.[12] The suit was dismissed because the de
