Looks like someone stole my story of a false relative claim. Not buying it. An alleged relative would have no claim to a life insurance payout unless they were named as a beneficiary so a DNA test would never be needed. It would be a moot issue. So all that would be needed would be to tell the person to go to you know where.

Who are you going to tell after you win the monday's powerball jackpot.
For starters I'd only tell the very few people who absolutely needed to know. That pretty much means the lawyer that would handle the legal issues. No need to tell my wife right away, but I'd set Gmail to send an email in a few weeks just in case I get hit by a truck. Eventually I'd probably need to come clean with a few relatives, but I might be able to explain away a new (and reasonable) house as a splurge when an expected inheritance turns out to be larger than I thought.
