Confirmed NYS Lottery under investigation for possible fraud scratch offs game 596
Well I am so excited. I received a phone call today from the chairman of the racing and wagering committee this morning. The Chairman, Honorable Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow, has decided to investigate my claims of fraud and manipulation for the Game 596 1 million dollars a year for life scratch off. If you have been following my posts you know what I have discovered and uncovered and I presented it to over 150 investigatory agencies. I am so excited that maybe, just maybe my claims will be found

From the article it sounds like that retailer was already under investigation so I don't think it was a random inspection.

Believe me. If you reported it and the lottery office stated that the store is under investigation, it's the Feds that will be called in on the investigation if the problem is noted to be a big problem where thousands of dollars are being claimed and not reported legally. The Feds move slowly and meticulously on these matters. litebets

There have been similar stories with people posting concert/sporting event tickets online and scammers copying the bar codes to sell duplicated tickets. It would be a public service to let people know the dangers of posting tickets online. I wouldn't be surprised if the investigation took upwards of 90+ days because the store that cashed the ticket may be reluctant to fully cooperate.

That stinks.. but the tickets are bearer documents. It would be nice to at least see a good investigation and arrest. May not see the $500 again but at least some one would be held accountble.

Bought 6 in a row...0...go to other stores bought 3 between 2 stores..won 40. Call me blind but, I remember seeing there was like 41k prizes of 500 last yr....now there is 90k of 500 prizes....Someone explain this please n ty. Maybe we need an investigation !!

I just came in to check the post see if anything good was win. Its a lot cheaper to see winners then try lol. But I think its awesome that you guys are doing your own investigation I love it. Keep us updates and the code new is really good infovi used to see that code a lot go figure.

I wouldn't tell too many people you're doing that. If you ever find a big winner there'll be an automatic investigation and they may give you a hard time about it.

I have encountered Indian store owners and family members scanning tickets and then still selling them. they know which tickets on the role have money on them. from my investigation I go into this store daily and it has a lot of winners but when you ask the people that hang around there who's winning on all these scratch off and they say not them I think the lottery corporations should come out with a better way on how these tickets are dispersed .we all have had this problem and it is bad here
